Loved this place!! Stayed for a week the staff is so friendly and helpful ( Isaac, Axel, and Raquel were so fun and entertaining). Great pools and bars! The food at the buffet was pretty good. The food at the restaurants are hit or miss but overall the experience here at Bahia Principe was great!! I would definitely be back.

The property is huge and you need to be prepared to walk or you can take the little golf carts. The staff is wonderful!

Everything was great at the hotel, except for when I arrived with my girlfriend! We were hassled by the security guard, and after that he had the audacity to ask my girlfriend of 3 years when she was going to stop selling her body….great stay but absolutely disgusting way to treat paying guest! Have emailed the ceo and have yet to get any response….unfortunately won’t go back

Staff courtesy, friendliness, hospitality are inconsistent. Peggy at the front desk, Luis at the pool bar should be commanded for their excellent hospitality while Miguel at the front desk, and the beach towel clerk at the poolside beach station are at the opposite spectrum with a can’t be bother attitude, rude, and unwilling to help with a simple restaurant reservation change while the station is out of order, beach towels out around noon but he never bothered to replenish them for the remaining of the day, and appeared to be don’t bother me when we came back and asked for them.

My family stayed here from May 18-May 22nd. I am going to start off with the positives. The restaurants were actually higher quality than a lot of all-inclusive resorts and each restaurant even had their own signature cocktail (The best specialty cocktail drink I had was at the Indian restaurant). The grill at the pool was very good! The resort's landscape is very beautiful with tons of really cool statues that remind you of Greece. The beach was also nice. Here comes the negatives. First off, this resort is HUGE so in order to go to every restaurant and other activities that is not near your room you would have to wait and take a shuttle. The buildings where the rooms are located in do not have elevators. So, if you have a lot a luggage you will have to walk upstairs to put them in your room if you are not on the first floor. You have to make reservations to each restaurant except buffets and you have to do it before even going to the resort (up to 10 days in advanced) which is very annoying. Most of the entertainment was boring and I feel like the animation team was not very well prepared compared to other resorts I have stayed at. It felt like every night was the circus show. The pool was very hot, and it would take a very long time to get drinks at the pool bar. Our rooms we had were decent just needs to be updated. The tv only had 4 channels. My family got bad bug bites. Staff was rude. Would never come back.

Overall nice resort, as there are many resorts in one you can stay at yours or visit others. What wasn't good was it was not clear whether or not you could access food or drinks at the orher resorts so you were limited.

I had been here before and it was a good time. This time around, getting any type of service was next to impossible. Maid service was awful, we had to beg for clean towels. The food at dinner buffet was terrible and cold. For an adults only place, everything shut down very early. We walked most of the time as transportation was near impossible to secure. I regret going there very much. We also returned home extremely ill from the food there. I shall never recommend this resort.

The staff was very friendly and enjoyable. The service in all areas of the resort was great. Since the property is so large, it was very nice having transportation to and from places you wanted to go such as the beach and restaurants. The property was very clean and well maintained. Our room was very clean. We had a spacious junior suite that overlooked the pool. We loved our stay and recommend going.
