Amazing Get Away
The condo was very up scale and had beautiful features. We thoroughly enjoyed the large balcony and breath taking views. The beach was very clean with soft sand and a sea shell collector's paradise. We enjoyed how much the beach changed with the tides, it would recede far back revealing lots of tidal pools with interesting sea treasures to be discovered. We visited the fish market place and had a great dinner there but did most of our meals back at the condo. We haven't been to Rocky Point for 20 + years so we had lots of fun rediscovering this vacation spot. We definitely plan on returning this year for more fun in the sun.

Tessoro
Condo is beautiful inside and the beds are comfortable, all the conveniences of home. Loved sitting out on the deck, absolutely beautiful view. Tessoro is so quiet and peaceful, perfect family spot. Now that there is Chuy's Restaurant (absolutely delicious), Rocky's Pizza and a Six convenience store in Las Conchas, you don't have to drive into RP for those evening food or snack cravings. LOL!

Beautiful condo, views, beach
Wish the property itself had a restaurant/pool service because we didn’t want to leave the serenity to go into the chaos of Rocky point for a meal out. Otherwise it was fantastic we enjoy being a little more off grid, lovely to walk the beach with rarely another soul insight:)

Yes, Angie, there are good a bad points with being off the beaten path. We usually bring food and cook on the grill or in the kitchen and avoid going out altogether. Glad you enjoyed the calm serenity of the location. Bill

Resort style condo
A lovingly kept condo with gorgeous views and plenty of room for two families with kids. The beachfront access was perfect and we enjoyed the privacy of the location. Cooking experience was excellent overall, well stocked, although some cooking oil and foil would have been even better. Everything was spotless, the furnishings were very comfortable, one king bed was firmer than the others. Absolutely great experience and would stay here again.

The condo was amazing very clean and inviting. The pool and spa area was also very nice. The common areas are not complete and are a construction area. There was also an issue with the elevators not working and had to climb stairs on 2 occasions. Also some people do not clean up after their dogs so there was quite a bit of dog feces in an area in the back.

The elevators work even when the electricity goes out. So there was no need to be walking up or down the stairs. There is a back up generator to keep the elevators working.

Magnificent condo away from the crowds
We visit Puerto Penasco two to three times a year for almost 10 years now and this condo did not disappoint! We were greeted by Gaspar and he helped us get situated. The condo has high end furnishings and nicely appointed with more than enough of everything for the six of us. One bed was firm and others appeared to be pillow top with multiple pillows. The R/O system was working fine although we preferred to bring water as well as all our own food, drink and condiments. Rarely is there a grill available at condo units, but this unit has a nice big propane grill that made our cooking go smoothly. The weather was beautiful; the pool, hot tub and beach were wonderful and security made you feel at home (unlike Sandy Beach area). The steps down to the beach are tricky, but it appeared the contractors were scraping a path adjacent to the pool backside for easier beach access. We have a handful of units we revisit and this is now on our list. You won’t be disappointed as Bill responds quickly to any questions during your visit.

Perfect
This property was very clean and a perfect location for traveling with teens. The cove on the backside of the property offered a place for the kids to use ATVs and side-by-side’s. The kids had a blast. The nice part was you couldn’t hear the noise inside the unit. Manuel who manages the property is so helpful as is the security person Gasper. Gasper ordered the ATV’s and they were delivered to us. Bill was easy to get ahold of and answered any questions I had promptly. It was a convenient trip into town for dinner and groceries. I would highly recommend it.

We love the location.
Well furnished and maintained unit. Excellent wifi and television cable options for the down times. We loved the balcony views front and back. The main balcony is quite large with plenty of room to dine outside and lots of comfy chairs to enjoy the stellar views looking out to the Sea of Cortez and down the beach.

Spectacular condo and views. It wasn't as clean as we would have expected. Bedspreads should be washed and there were not enough extra blankets, It would have been nice to locate a broom to sweep up what cleaning person missed. Stairwell was very dirty and full of trash. Possibly because of spring break there were very loud partiers in hot tub and area way past 10 pm. Also the sand buggies were tearing up the hill behind building all hours of the day and night! I would try it again but maybe not around spring break. We expected spring breakers to stay in town!!

Jill, unfortunately I would never go to Rocky Point during Spring Break. They have discovered every condo complex in or around Rocky Point This is not normal during other times of the year, with the exception of Easter! I am so sorry you went during that time and sincerely expect another visit, would be better. Holidays are usually full capacity though so less quiet and potentially louder groups. For best results Sundays through Thursdays, departing Friday morning will have the fewest people overall. So sorry there were ATV's, etc., on the beach tearing it up. There is absolutely no excuse for the condo not being totally clean, the cleaning staff will be talked to about this. I hope you will give us another try. Bill Jones

Would Do Again
Accommodations were perfect. Away from the crowds yet close enough to drive to nearby shops and restaurants. Timely communication from host with instructions for getting there and how to get in. I would stay there again.

Tressoro Condo
The condo its' self is beautiful. Very well supplied with all you would need. The outside of the property not so much. We arrived in the middle of a windy storm which did not allow us to see the piece of metal sticking up a the entrance. We had a flat tire before we even entered the parking garage. Ricardo the property manager that night called a friend and he fixed our flat for a price of course. The electricity went out twice because of the storm. The two following days were nice and quiet . Saturday and Sunday very noisey. It was nice enough weather to have the doors open and enjoy the nice balcony. The beach became a race track for vehicles and side by sides. Also a local family decided to enjoy the hot tub, pool, and BBQ both days. They were not loud or roughty but did own one of the side by sides it seems. The police were called on Sunday and that seem to chase off the other vehicles. We know that Las Conchas is a nicer area of Rocky Point. We have been going to Rocky Point for years. We could see that not enough of the condos are filled to help pay for the exterior up keep. Too bad. That's Mexico

Another Fantastic Stay
This was our second stay at this condo and it was just as good, if not better than the first experience! Love the views, quiet, private beach and pool, everything you need, and very comfy/cozy! We had one issue with the A/C that was completely out of everyone’s hands, and resolved very timely!! We will definitely be back for more long weekends!!

Really far
I know in the description it says that it's a very secluded area but it is very secluded. Wish the property had a restaurant or bar. The pool was dirty so I didn't really get much use out of that. If you are looking to come to Pto. Peñasco to cook your own food, relax and stay put in one place this is a great to stay.

My husband and I had an amazing Anniversary weekend at this beautiful condo! Extremely clean, everything you need, super comfortable beds, and probably the most extraordinary views in all of Puerto Penasco! We have stayed at many of the resorts in town, and although Tessoro doesn’t have all the amenities as others do, the beauty and serenity make it so much more special! Bill, the owner/host was very easy to work with from our perspective and the quickest, most convenient check in, with a personal tour of the condo, to boot!! We will be back!!

Great Place on the Ocean
We have stayed at Tesoro many times. This condo has the best furnishings so far. There is plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cook with. The beds are comfy, and the living and dining rooms have just the right amount of furniture. The patio has a table and lounge chairs so you can sit out there and relax. Everything was so nice and organized we didn’t need to reach out to Bill or the management for anything. This was a great experience.

We loved our time here!
This was a great unit with a beautiful view! Everything that we needed for the trip was there and we felt at home. The beach was nice, and the pool area was good. Only negative was the area that it is located is fairly far from town. We knew this going into it, though, but never having been there we were surprised by how far it was. This did end up being a positive as we were there on a really busy weekend, but being away from town, we weren’t too crowded or anything. We will stay here again.

Blissful vacation
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation where you can watch the moon set, while also seeing the sunrise, this is the place to be. Our trip was perfect from start to finish. Booking, checking in and out, and every moment in between were stress free and smooth. The condo was as advertised: clean, well equipped, everything worked, and plenty of space. The views were amazing. Most of the week, it felt like the beach was our own private space. We will most certainly rent here again. Highly recommend. Life is good. 💜

Absolutely amazing stay
We were blown away by this property!!! By far my favorite place I've stayed in Rocky Point. The unit itself is beautifully appointed, very comfortable beds, everything you could need cooking wise. The location is exactly what we wanted - secluded but a very quick drive (15-20 min) to the action. This means NO vendors on the beach! And the fact that we could bring our dogs was just icing on the cake. The property is very well kept and quiet. We will absolutely be back!!

Relaxing stay with amazing views!
My family and I stayed at Bill’s condo for 4 nights and had a wonderful time for my father’s 78th Bday. Although the property is a bit of a drive from town, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Away from the crowds and noise, you can walk the beach (with your dog!) without seeing another person. We watched whales and dolphins jumping from the hot tub on the patio and the condo had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the friendly security guard escorted us to our room and gave us a quick tour. The only thing you need to bring is clothes, toiletries and some beach towels!

Just don't expect to be able to wash your clothes as host advertises is an amenity with the washer/dryer icon. The washer/dryer was locked away. When I texted him about this through VRBO, he said we're allowed 1 free load during our stay and we have to call the property manager to unlock the door. When I told him this is not what his listing says, he responded: "Did you read the entire listing. I am on vacation and considering this finished. If you want to do one load contact Manuel!" Location very nice, host pretty awful. Washer/dryer access is typically a standard amenity for condo rentals, but not for Bill R. Jones.

From this one would think this was one text. It was several and indeed the listing clearly states guests can do one load of laundry. There was a time when the laundry room was unlocked guests did a month's worth of laundry while in one of the condos. I responded immediately and she kept continuing to text me. Asking the same thing over and over and expecting a different response is the very definition of insanity. I do not feel that if one does not fully read a listing it is NOT my fault. I indeed was on vacation for the first time in 27 months. Read my other reviews and you will see this one is not the normal. Guest was jerk! i HOPE TO NEVER HAVE HER AS A GUEST AGAIN.

The guests could not figure how the match worked on adding an additional day! I spent two hours back and forth trying to explain it with no luck until I had to send him the original booking and explain in grammar school English how it worked. Finally I gave him the vrbo phone number so he could hear it from them!

Best Place to Stay in Puerto Penasco
Having stayed at about 5 different places in Puerto Penasco during the past 8 years, we can say that this is the best and we'll try to book it again in the future. The interior design and furnishings and appliances are very high quality, everything works, the pool and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the beach (except for noisy and unruly dune buggies) is beautiful.

Relaxing and Joyful stay
The property is wonderful, beautiful, and you feel like you are at a home away from home. We normally stay at our family's home just a few houses down, which is a marvelous place, so this second option turned out to be just perfect. We were unsure because we're used to a large, single home to ourselves, but everything turned out perfect. Gaspar who works for Tessoro is amazing, makes you feel at home, super helpful and kind...pura gente.

Perfect get away!
This property is well maintained and thoughtfully furnished. We were well pleased with this property located on the quiet side of Rocky point. The condo is located in a private and quiet area that offers a fantastic beach and swimming pool area. If your looking for a relaxing beach area away from people and traffic this is it! It was not what I expected, it was over my expectations! The pictures on the listing should be definitely better. House was very clean and organized. We had everything we needed in the house. Simply amazing place
The Tessoro Tower is a wonderful escape for us from Phoenix. This unit was very clean and extremely comfortable. We love to cook snd this condo had all the kitchen gadgets you would want. It was awesome. The patio/balcony area is where we dined every meal and sat the 5 of us very comfortably. Everyone said just how much they enjoyed their sleep at night because the beds were great. Fantastic Condo
Condo is just as described! Very clean and well stocked. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and accommodating! Would definitely recommend. Communication with owner was easy and very responsive!
