Large Condo for a family
We had some hiccups when we checked in but Las Palomas and the owner worked with us to be as comfortable as possible. The condo was not cleaned very well by the staff but the owner was attentive and had the staff clean the condo again the next day. Overall the condo is great, just needs a little maintenance.

Great place, ease & communication with owner was on point. Actually this condo is really amazing. Completely stocked in kitchen and clean linens. The private entrance area made me feel safe (as single mom) for was was a bonus. The view is breathtaking. We will definitely be back and looking forward to staying here again

Great space with lots of room and amazing views
Las Palamas is a great resort and we loved the space this condo offered. It housed 7 adults and 4 kids perfectly for a week. It has great views, we were able to watch dolphins on the patio most days. The swinging chair on the patio was a hit by all 11 of us, so relaxing. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the condo and it was stocked with everything we needed. We all also loved the ice maker. Would definitely recommend staying here. The only reason for the 4 stars was the bathrooms were not super clean when we got there.

50th birthday celebration
Sadly disappointed. The unit smells like sewer. The AC unit is extremely loud and annoying. Lastly, they were repairing the roof on the outside, and kept dropping materials on the balcony. Extremely frustrating and disruptive. Called maintenance several times, they did come up and clean the balcony, but could not eliminate the smell of sewer, or the loudness of the AC unit. Lastly, they tried to charge me for a broken door handle, that was already hanging on by a thread.

Brad...Sorry to hear about the issues during your stay. I have Las Palomas service all the air conditioners every 3 months and repair any problems as a preventative measure. At least your stay was in November when the weather is mild. With respect to the sewer smell they are investigating whether it is a building issue. Unfortunately, sometimes all stays do not go smoothly. These issues were unforeseen for sure. I do apologize these issues occurred. 99% of the stays go smoothly.

Owner failed to enter reservation with property!
We arrived at the resort only to find that the owner had not contacted them about the reservation - we called and messaged the owner, but no response. We waited while the front desk tried to contact the owner and we finally contacted VRBO. Eventually the front desk informed us that they now had the reservation, but that the room might not be ready and they needed to send someone to check it out first. Finally, we got into the room and started our vacation. Other than being a bit worn out in a few areas (like the dishwasher was a rusty mess), it was a nice place to stay. The owner never did get back with us or even apologize, fortunately the resort was able to fix things, otherwise we would have been stuck in Mexico without a room.

Thank you for your review. I apoligize for the misunderstanding at check in. Occasionally this does happen with their reservation system. I was in contact with Las Palomas to get everything taken care of. I responded as soon as possible but was traveling that day. We will be doing a total remodel of the unit from 1/2-2/28. This will include new paint...cabinets....counter tops...appliances....flooring...plumbing fixtures and new furniture. We are making the unit new again. Please come back and stay and I would be happy to discount your stay for your Inconvenience . Mike

Our stay was wonderful! There was an issue that happened prior to our arrival and the owner reached out to inform me about it. Great communication! Only thing I wish the property management company would leave more than 1 trash bag, dishwasher soap and paper towels when staying there for 4 days.

Best Rental Unit!
We stayed at the property with some friends. Awesome location, view and room. I would recommend it. Our only feedback was lack of garbage bags and cleaning supplies we ended up going to buy some. Other then that it was a blast!

Condo is beautiful
The check in was a far from pleasant. We arrived at 3:30 and were laughed at by the front desk associate. He told us to come back at 4. When we returned at 4:15there was a line out the door for checkin in which we waited another 45minutes to be told the room was. It ready. Once we were able to talk to someone, we were told our room wouldn’t be available until 6:00 and we were offere 1- $20 food voucher for the inconvenience. I explained that I rented the penthouse which is 4 rooms and we had 7 people in our party all there and ready to check in, and again, I was laughed at and was told $20 dollars was all they could offer. A manager then came to talk to me and explained the same thing. I expressed my frustration and asked to use their phone to call the owner of the condo. I was denied use of their phone because it was not an emergency but was promised we would have room keys by 6. I returned at 6, was provided room keys, and upon entering the condo, it was still dirty and there was still cleaning personnel in it. So we waited longer. Overall the condo is beautiful, the view is amazing and the space was well kept. The bed I slept in was quite hard and uncomfortable, but I made do for 2 nights. We had a nice time celebrating my boyfriends 40th birthday. We will return again, just not sure if it will be to this resort due to lack of customer service.

Thank you for your feedback. Las Palomas handles all the check in and outs. They also take care of all the cleaning. Their are always times when wait times are not acceptable. This is one of those times. I apologized for this occurring. This is not an everyday occurrence. I happy the rest of your stay was good

View is perfect.... not worth the amount we paid with all the issues in the condo.
View is perfect. Plumbing in hall bath leaks, can't turn on the cold side of faucet because of leaks. Water pressure in all the showers are bad, I pee with more pressure. Dishwasher is completely rusted out and needs to be replaced. Fridge needs to be replaced shelves are pulling out of the sides of the fridge. Bedroom with double beds. Plaster is coming off the ceiling and the walls throughout the condo around doors and windows. Looks like it has leaked a few times recently and instead of fixing issues they swept up the mess and let it keep leaking bad. Felt on pool table is junked and ripped. Patio swing and other furniture rusted out and falling apart, just left on patio still. Floors could use a deep cleaning. Yes they have been swept and mopped but could use a good scrub. Bedroom in bunks no air flow very hot even with the fan running. DRYER DOES NOT WORK.... washed clothes to pack for home, packed wet clothes after several hours of trying to get them to dry. Condensation lines in the AC needs to be blow out. With it being really humid the AC vents were all dripping with No doors left open. Condo needs alot of TLC... we have staying in this condo before and it was a totally different experience this time... NOT WORTH THE EXPENSE TO STAY VIEW IS AMAZING THOUGH

Tina, Thanks for the feedback. I have alerted maintenence of the sink valve issue in the bathroom. I have not had any feedback on the water pressure in the 13 years I have owned this unit. It has been the same during that time. All showers are required to have water saving heads. This does reduce the water pressure. I was there 2 weeks ago and the pressure was normal. --Dryer is brand new. Thank you for letting me know it does not work. It will be repaired. --Not sure on the plaster coming down you referred to. Each year the unit is touched up from the wear and tear of the guests. I will have maintenence do an inspection. Again I was there 2 weeks ago and I did not see the issues you refer to. --Dish washer has been ordered. I was aware of this. The supply chain issues has caused long delays to get this appliance. --Floors are power cleaned every 60 days. The issue is the mopping of the unit. The maids do not change the water and end up mopping with a dirty mop.The next power washing of the floors is scheduled for 7/15 week. --I am aware of the swing. issue. After getting the estimate to repair we have decided trash it. --The condensation issue you referred to is related to the humid outside air. This is part of being on the ocean. The ducts are cleaned once per year and the vents painted. You cannot elininate some condensation dripping. I have had 98% of my reviews 5 star. I would be happy to talk to you direct on the issues you have raised. Las Palomas has a full time maintenence staff to fix all issues. When any guest has an issue they should dial"0" and they will help. Each year a comprehensive inspection is done by Las Palomas. This addresses everything in the condo that needs repairing or replacement.I always get the unit ready for the season. During the season we always have additional items from the wear and tear of guests. I want all my guests happy. I would be happy to extend a discount on your next stay. Family Fun Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay! It was big enough for all 11 of us which was the point of this vacation. Everyone had space to retreat to if needed. Pool table was a hit - however - it really does need an overhaul...the felt is in pretty bad shape and only 1 cue stick had a bottom piece. None the less we played and had fun!! A little short of assorted glassware but there was a sink to wash them in!! The refrigerator needs to probably just be replaced as there are a lot of missing/broken bins inside. It did hold the temperature though. Outside patio furniture is definitely weather beaten, we just threw our towels over the top, it's still functional just need new cushions. The one really cool chair outside was completely unusable. The view - which is spectacular - makes up for A LOT of this. We would definitely book again!!!

Appliances need replaced
From talking with other owners that we’re staying there, I found out that the unit had recently been sold to a new owner. However the dishwasher didn’t even work at all and the racks were all broken. Staying in this large of a place you typically are with a family or large group and don’t want to have to hand wash all the dishes. This definitely needs to be upgraded and possibly more fans in the rooms. The bunk room had little to no circulation.

This is a very nice condo. We would have given it an overall rating of 5 stars if the dishwasher was operable and the felt on the pool table was replaced. The dishwasher was rusted out and needs to be replaced.

Fabulous stay!
Amazing unit. Would definitely stay there again. The unit needs a little help in some areas (new dishwasher racks, better lighting, a stove that you can read the dials, etc), but it is overall very nice and huge. Perfect for multiple families/couples. The wrap around patio is awesome.

Dissapointed. Please read before booking
Our children have grown up vacationing at Rocky Point and we have stayed here at Las Palomas for many many years. We were excited about the size and location of the room as it fit our family perfectly. We loved our time at the resort! We did not love the hard uncomfortable beds or old appliances that need replacing. The drier did not dry the cloths, maintenence came right over, but it continued to not dry, the refrigerator is missing bins on the door which was missed with all the food with our large group and the dishwasher was missing racks and rollers. With upgraded appliances and new beds we would stay here again. As is we were disappointed.

Joel..Thanks for the input. The bed issue I have not had any complaints. Everybody has a different hardness of bed they enjoy. These beds were purchased thru Las Palomas and are standard in most rental units. They are only 3 years old. The dryer issue I was told was fixed by maintenance prior to your stay. Thanks for letting me know it still was not fixed. I will be replacing so we have no other issues. The refrigerator bins we have been waiting for at least a month. We are trying hard to get this resolved. I would be happy to discount a future stay for your inconvenience. Thank you for your feedback.

We always love staying at Las Palomas. Check in process is easy. The security gate makes sure cars and guests feel safe. Place was super clean and ready for New Years. Kitchen cookware and dinnerware all fully supplied and just made it a really easy place to stay.

Beautiful condo and view!
The most gorgeous view from any of our RP stays. While the condo could use a little TLC (of which the owner is aware), it did not detract from the spacious, well stocked space. The 4th bedroom is difficult for an adult couple, as the bunk beds are tough to maneuver around, but would be fine for kids. Our complaint, which has nothing to do with the condo, is the check-in process. Renters should be warned of the very painful 45 minutes! They refused to set up 4 charge accounts for 4 couples. When we finally talked them into it, we discovered that most of the pool bar employees won't use the scanner anyway. So our bills were totally messed up. I suggest getting a print-out the night before to double check with your receipts! They would only give us 4 key cards upon arrival, but were willing to give us 4 more the next day. (????) All that being said, Coronado 908 was worth the trouble! We enjoyed every minute!

Perfect location and beach access
Overall fantastic stay! View cannot get better. Every room has a sliding glass door to open to enjoy the sound of the ocean. Prime lounge seating on the beach at the resort. The cleaning of the room was just okay- one day we had no wash cloths or hand towels left. One day they came so late we canceled cleaning. This was the only tiny thing that wasn’t amazing. Note: there were lots of coffee filters, and a water filter built into the sink. Tons of space to relax and play games together. This spot is a great getaway.

This is one of the best condos in Rocky Point. Great for larger groups of 8-11 people. The large 40 foot sliding door was opened when we arrived and we never shut it for six days. Enjoyed the cool breeze all week. The pool table was a lot of fun to with our 11 person group. My only complaint would be all the beds were too hard. Seemed like the mattress was the same in all rooms. Everything else was great! Would recommend staying here.

The place was nice and was definitely enough room for all of us. I was disappointed with the fact that we paid over $500 per night only to have no hot water the entire stay, a very cheap coffee maker that didn't work very well at all, and next to nothing in the way of paper towels, trash bags, spices, etc. I've paid less for more in the past. I would recommend making it more renter friendly in the future. (Also might be a good idea to let people know that the will be doing construction on the pool using jackhammers and other tools during their stay).

Robert...Thank you for your feedback. I was never informed of your lack of hot water. Also, had you contacted customer service they would have sent their maintenance people to fix the issue. In talking to them it sounds like it was the switch turned off to the water heater. The stocking of garbage bags and paper towels is done by Las Palomas. I appreciate that input. We do not provide spices. Depending on the cooking the guest should bring their own. Thank you again for your feedback.

Beautiful place but resort customer service was not great
The place was beautiful with amazing views. Very unfortunate the resort customer service, specifically the front desk was not good. They were not able to check us in on time. They checked us in 45 minutes late and there were still cleaning people inside trying to finish. The a/c was also not working well. It didn’t turn on at times and when it did, took a long time to cool off the place. This is an expensive booking- not sure I would stay here again because of the resort Poor check in operations.
