The check in was a far from pleasant. We arrived at 3:30 and were laughed at by the front desk associate. He told us to come back at 4. When we returned at 4:15there was a line out the door for checkin in which we waited another 45minutes to be told the room was. It ready. Once we were able to talk to someone, we were told our room wouldn’t be available until 6:00 and we were offere 1- $20 food voucher for the inconvenience. I explained that I rented the penthouse which is 4 rooms and we had 7 people in our party all there and ready to check in, and again, I was laughed at and was told $20 dollars was all they could offer. A manager then came to talk to me and explained the same thing. I expressed my frustration and asked to use their phone to call the owner of the condo. I was denied use of their phone because it was not an emergency but was promised we would have room keys by 6. I returned at 6, was provided room keys, and upon entering the condo, it was still dirty and there was still cleaning personnel in it.
So we waited longer.
Overall the condo is beautiful, the view is amazing and the space was well kept. The bed I slept in was quite hard and uncomfortable, but I made do for 2 nights.
We had a nice time celebrating my boyfriends 40th birthday. We will return again, just not sure if it will be to this resort due to lack of customer service.
