"Property was very nice but maintenance seems to be slipping a little. Lazy river under bridge areas has knocked out holes in tiles. Buildings near lobby across from coffee shop has huge dirty windows with finger writing on them. Dinner menu has shrunk in selection and proportion. Food is still delicious. Some favorite drinks are no longer part of happy hour. Over all our stay was fabulous despite these things but us repeat visitors do notice. The pools are not being heated as well as previously....

"This resort was great! The spacious condo was perfect for our family. The kitchen had almost everything needed to make our own meals (no paper products provided, bring your own paper towels & coffee filters). The pools were very clean and well maintained. There was some loud maintenance on one of the walkways but there was enough space to get away from it and you can't beat the proximity to the beach. Perfect family spot!"

"Clean and comfort condo with gorgeous views and property but barely stocked. Kitchen had minimal cooking supplies. They gave you two trash bags and half a roll of paper towels, which doesn’t last for a longer stay. Nothing stocked like salt and pepper. So if you plan to cook while at this condo bring everything you need or plan to buy in town, which is 20 minutes away. They give you 5 towels for both beach and shower use. For a family of 4, we had to avoid using them at the beach in order to...

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mayan Palace. All of the Vidanta Resorts our phenomenal. We really enjoyed the pools and restaurants. Vidanta truly offers top notch service. You have a private beach so there is no venders on the beach which is really nice . Very tranquil and family oriented. Our children enjoyed the kids club. Joseph was a great host and responded promptly. We will definitely be back. Thank you Joseph."

"Great location clean hotel"

"The room had a great view. Updated appliances and tvs that disn’t work though. Didn’t like the fact that the hotel doesn’t have a lobby. To check in and out you have to drive like ten minutes downtown to get you keys. My wife and I stayed in the master room and we where bitten by bed bugs I have over 10 bites on me alone. Pools are usually cool but these pools felt like hot tubs. First time we stay at a hotel where we have to take off all the linnen from the beds and put then in the laundry...
