there was a group of 10 of us with all different interests - they offered many excursions for all types of people. Just staying at the resort there was plenty to do as well. My one complaint would be the Italian restaurant - the food was not great there - otherwise we thought it was great!

Overall, it was a great place to stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, good food variety. Some days the pools had some kind of gunk floating in it but the beach was very disappointing- a foot of seaweed and it wasn’t until our last day there we saw them cleaning it up. Was really looking forward to what the pictures looked like. But had a great time and overall worth the money.

Had to visit the front desk 5 times as my access card didn't work. The manager refused to speak with me. I received racial treatment in some restaurants and the front desk. No one card that it was inconvenience for me and I recently had a knee surgery and went there to rest and recuperate. Big mistake as i had to walked so many times to the front desk. I also had to walk to me room after checked in. selected persons go ride on the golf cart. will not return

this resort is super underrated. I was in my research. A lot of people were putting a lot of negative comments on this resort and I was afraid of my experience But I can say that I loved my stay here. It was my first time staying here and my first time in Mexico and it would definitely not be my last. The staff were amazing and super welcoming, This resort had activities throughout the day, and even the staff participated with the guest. The food was high quality and had excellent flavor as well as the restaurants they Had, Had a lot of options to choose from. I honestly had so much fun here and I cannot wait to plan my next vacation with this resort. I wish I was able to thank everyone for the fun I had but honestly there were so many of the staff members who played a part of it

The staff was absolutely amazing, many food options. Biggest and only complaint was most of the buffet foods were not hot just room temperature. Room service food was good. Overall a great hotel, would recommend!

Check in was horrible. They make you wait until 3pm I have VIP with Expedia but that didn’t help. Not much to do here for younger folks.. they ask you to pay cleaning fee for the beach and yet it’s dirty you can’t go into the water. Not much entertainment either I stay at better resort before. Mini bar in room only had 2 beers lol.. checkin staff was very rude especially the one that works for Expedia no greetings from when you arrive.

Our "free upgrade" to El Beso ended up placing us in the farthest point of the resort. The air conditioning did not work in the room and despite repeated calls and visits to the front desk the problem was not resolved for the duration of our stay. The check-in process was inconvenient as it required several visits to the check-in counter (on arrival, at 3pm to see if room is ready, at 3:30 to check again if room is ready. These visits/times were as directed by resort staff). The concierge was pleasant and helpful on arrival, only to learn his agenda was to have us attend a time-share meeting. Otherwise, he did not provide any of the services he offered or follow-through with simple requests such as for dinner reservations or helping to find maintenance to have AC fixed. The taxi service was wonderful! The driver waited for 2 hours while we explored the town and the rates were reasonable. Through no fault of the resort, it is seaweed season so the beach and ocean was basically unusable for the entire trip. Service and presentation at the outdoor Italian Terrace restaurant was wonderful and possibly the highlight of our trip! There is plenty of pool space, they aren't crowded, but chairs are hard to come by unless you are reserving one with your towel before 9 a.m. Bar service was quick at all locations.

The room was lovely and clean, and we had a beautiful view of the garden and the ocean. The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and generous. We only faced one issue where we called room service and requested 4 bathrobes and slippers, and we never received them. One of the days, the water stopped working in the bathroom but they were extremely quick to resolve the issue. Overall it was a wonderful stay, we definitely recommend this resort to everybody.

We spent 4 days at the property and I feel like we still didn’t explore all of it. My daughter liked the kids area, my husband liked the swim up bar and we all loved the dining options. There is something to keep everyone entertained!

I loved that this property had something for everyone, a pool area with slides for kids, a pool with a bar that was more of a party spot and also a pool that was great for families! There is a lot of options when it comes to dining and entertainment at night as well as throughout the day. Overall we had a great experience!

This property isn’t worth staying. No party life or night club. This is Mostly for people who sleep early. Food sucks same thing every day. Mini bar only 2 beers and 4 water nothing else. Not allowed to take food out or order. Room service sucks never staying here again.

Having previously stayed at an Ocean hotel in Playa del Carmen, I was presently surprised when I arrived at this hotel and realized they were part of the same chain of hotels. It set my expectations high. Now my check in experience was not ideal and a bit frustrating but when I privately communicated this with management they kindly went out of their way to rectify this and ensure I had an enjoyable rest of my stay, even making me several dinner reservations and sending wine up to my room. Now I'll start with the pros. The hospitality is unmatched all the staff were so warm, friendly and helpful. The 9 dining options, many more snack bars, lounges and bars made for a delightful all-inclusive experience with many options to choose from. Blue Moon, Sensai and Route 66 being my favorites. The rooms are well furnished, comfortable, air conditioned and very spacious. Now to the cons, the bathrooms need a major renovation, they seemed older with tiling that didnt fit the rest of the rooms modern feel. The night entertainment could be better. There were no water sports or activities on the property or close by which was disappointing as I love to jet ski, parasail and kayak everytime Im in Mexico. The international buffet was not the best and could use a major overhaul with better food selections. Lastly the area of the ocean the property sits on is not stunning. The water isnt as clear and vibrant as with most of Cancun and it is filled with rocks. Otherwise had an enjoyable stay!

I really enjoyed the different activities they hosted day to day. There was always something to do. The faculty engaged with everyone during the activities. My favorite was the foam party. It was very entertaining. The dancing contest, the music and the people made it great. The faculty were all kind and very helpful. As a sous-chef from America, I was disappointed with the food. They have an amazing dessert area located in the Casa Del Mar. I enjoyed breakfast more than lunch or dinner here. It’s buffet style yet I found that most of the cuisines were bland or too salty. Ritratto D’italia is a reservation restaurant. I only had two opportunities to try out the food but I enjoyed it very much. When it came to room service food took an hour to hour and a half to be delivered. The food lacked flavor.. You’re better off going to the buffet downstairs for more variety and a better tasting cuisine. I would recommend renting a car if you intend on leaving the resort for food or shopping. A few taxi’s or other transportation fees were 2,400 pesos flat. Excursions booked through the resort would be a $10 fee depending on excursion. Overall, I would rate this resort a 4/5.

This property was very clean, friendly staff, a lot of activities all day long, amazing food. Buffet is one of the best I have experienced for an all inclusive. Food at other restaurants was also very good. No timeshare hustle which was wonderful. Beach was not very nice during this trip due to high winds and a lot of sea grass. Not the properties fault but they could have done more to keep it cleaned up. Great week at this resort!

The staff is terrific. The servers at the Privilege Restaurant were top notch. Ricardo who serves at the adult pool is great at his job and very personable. We enjoyed our 10-days and we were well taken care of.

Property was kept up very well. Staff was constantly cleaning public spaces throughout the grounds. Loved the pools and pool bar. We found the food options to be quite varied, The buffet was by far one of the best we’ve had at an all inclusive. Each station had chef attendants preparing cook to order items for every meal. We really liked how fresh things were with so many choices. Only downside is mot enough options for late afternoon food, The beach did have quite a bit of seaweed on the shore so did not spend much time in the ocean, Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the property!

WARNING BUYER BEWARE EXPEDIA WILL NOT HELP AC went and soaked my baggage no one was sent to my room and front desk staff was not helpful and Expedia could not process any sort of refund even though this was booked on the privileged side and services were not rendered ruined my whole morning trying to dry my bag before my flight when I shut up been enjoying my last day.

Overall, our stay was awesome. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Great activities and lots of fun! Only 4 stars because we were hoping for a beautiful beach and to be able to swim in the ocean. That area wasn’t the beautiful turquoise water like advertised. This is not the resort’s fault. Also, there should be more seating for the evening shows.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The resort was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of activities to do on the property to keep us busy when we weren’t doing any excursions. All of the food was wonderful, especially the Italian. All of the staff was extremely friendly and always said hello and checked to make sure we were happy. I can not recommend this resort enough, we will definitely be back!
