"The patio is a must to sightsee ocean from Carmel. The Jacuzzi tub which could fit two persons is great. The only thing i would mention is one side of the mattress was broken...I will need to sleep on sofa :("

Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Only request would be to start earlier. 8:30a is late if you want to get an early start to the day. 7:30/8:00a would be better."

"Everything was great. Since we could not be there for the happy hour (nice treat) they left us cheese, crackers, cookies and wine in the room. Breakfast was really good. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. We had the Jennifer room, I never slept better, the bed was exceptional. Overall loved the decor. Only one suggestion, have a way to make hot water for tea in the room. "

"Old Victorian with rooms in out buildings. When we checked in we were disappointed that the advertized free parking was not available. The dining room was very attractive and the breakfast food was tasty, but a small portion, compared to other B&B's. The bathroom and one of the bedroom windows were missing curtains. Two of the windows were not attached to their frames, so they were threatening to fall into the room. The bed was comfortable. The decor was nice, but sparse. No chair, no bedside...

"Pictures misrepresent the state of accommodations. House is very old, bathroom is falling apart and we asked for an ocean view room - you could barely see it out of one corner of the window. The rest of the view was of construction. “Farm to table breakfast” is a bit of a stretch too - basically everything was store bought except the tomatoes from the patio - which was a mess. Host didn’t even bother to ask us when we would like breakfast or if any dietary restrictions, nor did she ask if we...

"This little bungalow was just perfect for our visit which was the graduation of my oldest grandson from CSUMB. There was ample space for the six of us to share a first night dinner together and great outdoor sitting areas when the sun shone. The bungalow was so well stocked with everything one would need. And the location was so favorable to enjoy Monterey and Carmel outings. Fabulous!"

"Joe was an excellent host and great communicator. Got an email from him early the day of check in that place was ready and we could check in early. The only issue I have is saying place is ocean view is a bit of a stretch. You can see the ocean on the horizon through the trees etc. There is no real view. You will be in your car to go to beach and restaurants as its beyond what most people would walk. Its 30 plus minutes to walk to beach and if you wanted a chair or cooler or any such thing its...
