It’s summer, our room was quite warm but I removed the doona from the cover and left the window open. Being above a pub on a Saturday night I thought it would be noisy but we didn’t have any issue. "This property is a former hunting lodge and has some fabulous character and charm with some updates that enhanced the property, including a beautiful restaurant offering locally sourced dishes. We tried the salmon, cullen skink, venison and beef, all of which were top notch. Wendy was our server and she went above and beyond to take care of us. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer as the area and this hotel have so much to offer. We stayed in the Gate House which had two bedrooms, a sitting room, patios and a large bathroom, with a tub, shower and heated floors. The building and the decor were impressive and a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed breakfast each day at the main lodge, which offered a number of breakfast options, all of which we enjoyed. The service and staff were beyond pleasant and helpful. This property is truly top notch. We would definitely book here again and hopefully for a longer period of time. "

"Where do I start? I guess first, the location, at the very north of Skye. Peaceful, serene, evenings with nary a sound but the sheep bleating in the distance. Second, the lovely Lorraine, who left us a hand written note on our arrival and baked us shortbread cookies to start our full day on Skye (during which my daughter became engaged at Neist Point). Third, the lovely remodeled Croft house, perfectly appointed and perfect for our every need. A truly exceptional experience for us in every way. If we could give 10 stars we would!
