d’Alma Boutique Hotel is perfect in every way. The location is ideal for sightseeing. Both the metro and train station, Sao Bento, are close by. It is a beautiful walk to access Porto’s amazing riverfront and port cellars. There are also many restaurants and cafes in the area. Our extremely clean accommodation was equipped with all the modern conveniences yet keeping its historic charm at the same time. From the very helpful and pleasant staff to the lovely courtyard where you can enjoy a drink after a long day of sightseeing, we truly enjoyed our five day stay!

I LOVED this property, it was a great find in an amazing location next to Hard Rock Cafe so when I got lost on my last day all I needed to ask for was the hard Rock Cafe. Then I was golden. Tons is under construction in the historic parts.

The hotel is very new, clean and the size of the room was much larger than other hotels we stayed. Most of the staffs were friendly but one male staff was quite immature on client management.

Kind and welcoming staff . The room was spacious and very clean, well decorated, had everything we needed and seemed like a really great value. The location is touristy but we chose it because it was so centrally located we walked everywhere and took the metro to and from the airport. Would highly recommend!!

The area was safe since it had police nearby. We loved how close everything was and convenient it was to get there. The staff was very welcoming and the room was very clean. We would love to return and recommend this hotel in the future.

The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was beautiful. There however was no air conditioning available despite the fact that it was 30 degrees Celsius outside. When we asked about it, they said it wasn’t available at this time of the year. Our room was extremely hot. It was recommended that we open our windows at night as it was much cooler at night. The area is however very busy and loud at night so keeping windows open overnight is not a solution as then the room would be too loud to sleep. Would expect air conditioning with this price.

No coffee maker in the room. The description on Expedia didn't mention that for rooms other the suites there was no elevator. We didn't find out until after we booked and hotel sent us a message that we had to carry our luggage up four flights of stairs.

My studio room was beautiful and so comfortable! The three large windows in the room brought in so much light, but could also be closed if you want little light. The street the hotel on is quiet, despite being very close to nightlife and hotels the streets over. It was nice to have a small kitchen, which I would've utilized more if I'd stayed longer (small fridge for leftovers!). There was plenty of closet space and drawers. The TV let you sign into your streaming services (though most don't work in Portugal if you have a US account). The shower was awesome. I did not get the breakfast, but the area looked nice. They also have a water machine on the first floor which was nice. Tanya was very welcoming and helpful when checking in!

Awesome hotel. Spacious rooms. Located in the heart of Porto. Walk anywhere to see sights. You don’t need a car. Very courteous staff who were always available to assist. The only improvement would be to include a coffee maker or kettle in the rooms.

Stunning property. We booked the studio room & although we didn’t cook, it was lovely to have a drink prep/breakfast area. Awesome shower. Bathroom was located away from the bed which made for good privacy - a rarity in a hotel. Great sized room with a very comfy bed. Beautifully designed and spatially planned.

Truly one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The photos do not do it justice - it’s everything you expect and more. I stayed in the “exclusive” studio, and it felt exactly how luxury should. The decor was minimal yet beautiful, lighting was perfect, bed so comfortable, towel warmer in the bathroom, and even more spacious than photos showed. The kitchen was well stocked, and they even provided an electric juicer and three oranges for my stay. Friendly front desk. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This small hotel is brand new and very chic. The tall ceilings and French doors onto the balcony gave it a lot of charm, and the design is quite modern and sleek. In some ways I think there could have been less focus on design and more on function; there is literally no counter space in the very small but stylish bathroom. But the location is great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. We found it very enjoyable.
