Nice with great location beside the sea
Nice Hotel with great location right beside the sea. Decided to go for a more luxury room with sea-view and massage chair, and it is totally worth it. Clean and spacious room with beautiful view of Yeongildae Beach and can listen to the sea wave in the night while on the massage chair. Unexpected complimentary breakfast offering simple toast and coffee available in the morning.

The view is excellent. The stff are friendly and helpful. There were two drawbacks. There was no outlet to plug in the phone charger and the room door lock was broken.

Family of 4, used their parking garage also clean, clean room, bedding and bathroom included two loaner robes and each a pair of house slippers. Cold drinking water bottles in fridge. Nice toiletries provided for each. GREAT view of the beach. On 6th floor and elevator usually arrived quickly even during heavy traffic times such as check out . Only reason we didnt give 5 on check in : we were asked multiple times for our passport and we stood there waiting for another employee. Using translator app didnt seem to help. They both finally allowed us up to our room. When making reservations it was not mentioned as a requirement. One military photo ID was provided to correspond with Credit card used to pay for the room.

영일대 해변이 바로 보이는 뷰에, 주변에 놀 것들도 많아 매우 좋은 호텔입니다. 내부도 깨끗하고, 사장님도 친절하십니다. 내부 컨디션도 좋고, 어매니티 등 모든 것이 훌륭합니다. 그러나 해변에서의 불꽃놀이, 층간소음 등 소음 부분에서는 취약한 부분이 있으니 예민하신 분들은 참고 바랍니다

I stayed in this hotel once. All was perfect. Second booking I had to cancel due to emergency extraction from South Korea. Despite my best attempts to receive my refund, Expedia told me the hotel will keep my 200 USD. I cancelled 24 hours in advance yet still no refund or credit. I am extremely disappointed with the Pohang Veiw Hotel and Expedia. The corporate greed in the face of the Coronavirus outbreak is inexcusable
