The room was perfect for a quick quiet escape but was amazed that kitchen utensils and stove was in the room. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool looked amazing but i didnt have time to use it. Staff were beyond friendly and easy going. They knew the island well and were eager to give reccomendations and support where they could!

Great helpful hosts with lots of local knowledge, good size rooms, well setup, good for an extended stay with kitchen & dining table. Shaded outdoor BBQ/ dining area and pool. Short stroll to beach/ jetty/ pub/ bus stop and sunset views.

Wonderful place to stay. Cleanest place we have stayed on the island and the best shower too. Lovely staff and we would definitely stay again.

I loved the pool hated the bed it dipped in the middle i kept sliding into it u need to buy new mattress was in Room 5 thanks for the stay

Good value Self- contained units Magnetic Island
Rob and Jen, are the owners/managers and they live on the premises so immediately available. There are 12 units, all fully self-contained but if you need something extra they are pleased to get it. There’s a pool but the beach is a short walk away. A bus stop is nearby. It’s a the quieter side of the island but a couple of restaurants and a pub are nearby.

Tropical palms was a nice quiet place to stay the garden area was so peaceful and safe for your kids to play the pool was lovely also the owners were lovely and friendly and was willing to help with ur concerns or needs i definley would stay here again :)

Clean and wonderful owners!
The owners were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Loved picnic & BBQ area! It was within walking distance to the beach, park and restaurants. We really enjoyed to stay here!

Very clean and comfortable rooms in a lovely location. Picnic Bay is a bit more quiet than other areas on the island but still has a beautiful beach, a pub, a wood fired pizza place and a café with the best food we had during our stay. As far as the staff go we wish we could give them a 6 out of 5 for their helpfulness (they'll pick you up and drop you off at the ferry) and friendliness. They even have 4 wheel drive hire and a very good rate.

Great hospitality and super friendly. The internet/wifi was hit or miss. In the military and without wifi for 6 weeks, was really looking forward to some wifi, however, we would connect and then it'd kick us right back off. Overall super satisfied with Tropical Palms.
