They gave me a room for disable people without asking me if I wanted it, which was not clean, the TV didn't work. I asked for a technician to come and fix it, but no one ever came. The first day, I went for breakfast, knowing that breakfast was served until 10 am, it was 10 am, and I was not served. I think they were more strict than they should be. I went to a hotel to stay and not to the army to train. Parking $65 per day I think is too expensive for hotel guests... because I travel often most hotels have it for free. The hotel equipment needs maintenance. The only positive is its location

I loved the architecture - amazing and seemed historic. My bathroom shower did not drain and caused water to come out of the shower and into the bathroom. I called the staff, and they said they'd send up towels, and no one showed up. I had to stand in 1/2 inch of cold water trying to get ready - glad I didn't drop my hair dryer or curling iron...I told the front desk and they apologized for no one showing up with towels to dry the floor.

The room bedding and chairs was stained. The power went out for hours and no hot water. It took several calls to get assistance with getting clean linen. The outside, unfortunately had homeless people begging directly by the entrance door. The staff was nice but i will never go there again

This property has beautiful architecture and is very well decorated and well kept up. The common areas and rooms appear new and are not worn. The furniture, wallpaper and decor is all very pleasing and comfortable. The hotel is well located in Center City and it’s very easy to walk to restaurants, museums and shops. It is on the far side of the City Hall square however and I can see how one might feel uncomfortable walking there alone at night.

Very aged hotel. Location was ok, no self park options. Front desk was not helpful at all. No dining recommendations, no parking recommendations, we’re trying to extend time in Philly and they were not helpful in that either. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Everything looked dated and not well maintained.

Check in & check out was quick and easy. The hotel was close to everything we had planned for the weekend so that was very convenient. My only con would be the price for the valet parking. We opted to park at the conventional parking lot across the street.

Absolutely not
It took multiple attempts to receive the room we booked. Staff lied directly to us, saying the room we booked wasn't available, that they don't guarantee rooms booked through third parties. The rooms showed available on their website, and when we showed them this, the staff began blaming the cleaners instead of just giving us the room we had booked and paid for. The room we eventually received, while it did have a king bed, was so small that our single suitcase barely fit inside it. The entire floor smelled so strongly of marijuana that it made us sick. This is the worst property I've stayed at in recent memory, not only will I not stay here again, I will reconsider using Hotels.com if they're not able to guarantee that I'll receive what I booked and paid for without an extremely unpleasant and drawn out fight with the property.
