Very nice room. No breakfast provided. Shuttle bus block front entrance which had the low curb for handicapped. Otherwise everything was accessible in the hotel.

Hotel was nice. However as a construction worker I can tell where corners were cut in assembly. It’s the minor details that scream the most such as worn out furniture or half caulking the tub and toilet. Staff was amazing. Greeted everytime through each interaction and was willing to help with anything that I needed. Room cleanliness was a 5.5/10. The kitchen area was clean but the carpet was not vacuumed and nor was the bathroom floor adequately swept and mopped. Again the furniture was also worn the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The vents on the air conditioner were also dirty and by dirty I mean there were cigarette butts and etc in them which stopped me from even turning it on bc who would want that type of air circulating. Overall stay was a 6.5/10. For the price of $865, I couldn’t complain about much like I said it’s just minor details and a little more housekeeping that would’ve boosted it for me.

Location was not very good. In a bad neighborhood. Feet got dirty from walking on floor which then the bed sheets dirty. No hot water in both the evening and morning.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, coffee was not that great , rooms were very clean but hallways needed some attention, specially carpet looked like it needed to be reinstalled or stretched so we wouldn’t trip with it

Overall property was very clean. Inside the room the carpeted area VERY dirty. Ruin a pair of white socked. Don’t care about the socks but it really was dirty.

My family and just stayed at this hotel for a week. After the 2nd day, the air conditioner stopped working, which made it difficult to sleep. I let the front desk know about this issue as soon as we realized it to be a problem. We unfortunately didn't travel to Philadelphia to sit in a hotel room to be sure everything was working correctly. The phone in the room does not work correctly, we let the front desk know. They sent their maintenance man up to our room, my wife explained to him how the phone wasn't working and his response was “It's not my problem”. His tone is very aggressive, hostile, and flat-out rude. The next issue we had was the AC stopped working and I woke up at 3:24 am with sweat rings on my shirt. I went to let the front desk know and the lady told me she would move my family and me in the morning. The next morning I went to find out what time and to what room we would be moved to. A different woman informed me they'd need to send their maintenance man to fix the AC. They let their guy know who immediately loses his mind because no one told him. He came to the room to scrap ice off the AC unit like that was the fix. Deshaun, the GM, moved us rooms and we thought all was well. However my family and I were harassed by their maintenance man for an additional 2 days until we left. This guy lives there on the 2nd floor and is always around to be a nuisance and harass you. I would not stay here again as long has this guy lives there and employed there.

As far as the property, there isn't near enough parking. There were a couple of broken down vehicles that probably caused the issue though. The room was a big problem. It was a suite that had a kitchen and cook top in it so food mess is expected. What was not expected was the dishes to be dirty when we walked in, ants to be everywhere and show up out of nowhere. They were in the bedroom (where there was no food), in the living room (again where no food was), and in the bathroom near the sink and the shower. We cleaned them up and kept food refrigerated but the second we put a cup down, giant trail of ants showed up after sitting there watching tv for 5 minutes. It made relaxing nearly impossible and we were afraid to put anything down. The only other problem were the fixtures. Our first night there the towel hand fell out of nowhere. Just fell while my girlfriend was sleeping, the toilet continued to flush (I had to manually shut it off) and the shower wouldn't drain properly. Also, the garbage disposal was definitely off kilter.

Upon check in and the woman at the front desk wasn’t very helpful and was on her personal device for our entire conversation. Wasn’t very welcoming or pleasant Our stay was 2 nights and on our last night at 6am there was a continuous sound of someone running or pushing the luggage cart very fast and loud it woke me up out of my sleep !

My goal was to find somewhere clean and they did that very well but talking to the front desk felt like i was bothering them. The fire alarms went off 2 nights in a row and almost none of the applicances worked. They tv was burnt in the middle. The stove didnt work, the bathroom door wouldnt stay closed. The parking lot is very tiny. Had to walk in rain for a good distance just to go back to my room.

It's in an industrial zone no shopping or stores anywhere around. Streets have ancient pavements holes ruts and pits. But the hotel is very nice.

At 8:58 in the morning a guy unlocks our door and steps in, i already awake and dressed and all he said was “ oh you’re still here, you are checking out right.” Not a knock prior or a sorry to disturb you or anything! I still do not know if this many worked for the hotel or not, we was wearing scrubs with no name tag. Also women were dragging large trash bags full of belongs down the hall the night before as well as small children (under 6) running up and down hall calling for momma. No I would know stay here again and advise you to keep this review in mind.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent booking experience that I made through Expedia. On January 9, I reserved a suite at Candlewood Hotel for January 12 through January 14 through Expedia. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was informed that there were no suites available and was consequently allocated a studio room. This was not only unexpected but also disappointing, as the specific choice of a suite was crucial for my stay due to a special sleep arrangement. The primary reasons for my complaint are as follows: Misrepresentation of Available Accommodation: The Expedia platform showed the availability of a suite at Candlewood Hotel, which led me to believe that my reservation was confirmed for this specific room type. The discrepancy between the booking information and the actual availability at the hotel indicates a lapse in communication or system updates between Expedia and the hotel. Lack of Prior Notification: I was not informed prior to my arrival at the hotel that there was a change in my reservation. Had I been notified beforehand, I would have had the opportunity to make alternative arrangements that suited my needs. To resolve the issue, I would appreciate it if you could: Offer a refund or credit for the difference in cost between the suite and the studio room, as compensation for the inconvenience. Provide an explanation as to why the error occurred and what steps are being taken to prevent similar issues in the future.
