"Tucked away nicely up the hill, felt very private, quiet and a perfect place to watch the sunset from the private pool on the villa. Even though it’s away from the beach, there are plenty of hotel provided free shuttles, and also just as easy to book a cab with Grab (around 85 baht each way!) "Very bad experience, no help at the reception, receptionnists don't smile and don't give any good advices for places to visit, no barbecue included while it was written in the description. Swimming pool not cleaned after glass broken, and my friend was injured with the broken glass fallen in the pool. "This place is perfect for you if you plan on staying at the resort. If you want to visit the main part of town to eat, explore, party, shop… maybe consider a resort closer to the pier/main part of town. Sadly, the resort is only accessible via taxi boat (long tail boat) which costs 100-150 baht per person depending on the time you leave. Yes, there is a free taxi boat shuttle from the pier to the resort when you arrive and leave but otherwise you are on your own for transportation. It’s also worth mentioning that you get in the taxi boats through the beach (your shoes and feet will get wet). Otherwise, the staff is kind and friendly (they decorated my room for my birthday and gave us an upgrade in terms of the bungalow). The food is good and affordable given the location and the resort is beautiful since it is right on the beach and has its’ own private section. The bungalows are on a steep hill but you can grab a ride in a truck from the main lobby. All in all, an enjoyable stay and my sister and I would return there!"
