This was the best vacation ever. I have visited a lot of places and this by far exceded my expectations. I am officially addicted to this property and am already going back in 2 months. Highly recommend. The staff are amazing and friendly. It is safe to go off resort. Food options were great. Only vacation I have ever been on that I did not want to come home from.

Royal at the Atlantis is beautiful. Enormous property. Beautiful aquariums! Prices for water, soda, incidentals, etc. were high. We did the meal plan (which was just okay for the allowable restaurants) but it is vague as to what exactly is covered so double checking on check out is important so that you won't be double charged. Staff was for the most part was friendly and efficient. Gratuity is included so not all staff earn their tip. I think some are fed up with tourists. Overall, I would love to go back. The facilities are beautiful and the turquoise waters are breathtaking. I'd give the Atlantis a 9/10. It was a wonderful vacation!

Staff at he hotel and restaurants within the complex all very unkind. Check in was not ready for us, we were locked outside our bedroom due to no batterie charge at the locker. all chairs and pool furniture with dirt from the birds, old too. Umbrellas in very bad conditions, no ene to help you with them. Water at the water fountain tasted very bad.

The grounds are maintained to perfection. The resort was just beautiful. Each day was an adventure walking around and checking all the sites out. We will definitely be back and bringing our children with us to experience the beauty.

Hotel is nice, the beaches are beautiful. A lot to do during the day. Amazing option if vacationing with children. Set back is everything outside closes at 5 and the only dinning options are either inside or at the Marina. Over all food quality even at the top restaurants is OK at best. Reservations are a must for those as well. Overall, for a family vacation, it was great.

The Royal is a dream destination will be going back again. It’s very nicely built has a lot of attractions to keep you busy. The only downside was the balcony on my room was only about 2 foot wide but it didn’t stop me from going out on it and enjoying the views, some of the rooms had regular size balconies. Overall great place.

The property is old. The room was not clean. The toilet seat was very old and not even attached to the toilet. The toilet itself was rocky. We complained several times, they replaced the toilet seat but did nothing about the toilet itself. It also had a terrible odor coming from the pipes. The tub was clogged and the maintenance people did nothing to take care of that problem. The room was cleaned minimally and never vaccumed during our stay.

The hotel came highly recommended by my sister and her husband, who frequent both here and Baja Mar. Given her husband's status as a high roller, I trusted their suggestion and chose to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday at Atlantis. With plenty of kid-friendly activities, it seemed like the perfect choice for our group of six. However, our experience took a turn when my 16 year old niece slipped and fell down the stairs during breakfast on the second day. The caution sign was placed after her fall. she endured back pain throughout the weekend. Despite assurances of assistance from the staff, they provided a wheelchair, I was told I could buy ice packs, I found myself repeatedly returning to the front desk for help. It felt like management's empathy was more for show than genuine concern, especially as our options for leaving the property or engaging in activities became limited. So disappointing for all 6 of us.

Property is great and it’s family friendly so if you are looking for kids free vacation then it’s not a good choice. Food options are limited for vegetarians. In addition. Some staffs were friendly and some were not.

I loved the resort, everything there was beautiful. I learned by myself to snorkel on their beaches so better bring your equipment. The only thing i didn't feel safe was during the rapids and water slides, my wife and daugther got with small injuries.

There is SO much I could say but overall this is the most amazing resort we have been to! There are multiple hotels within the resort but we stayed at the Royal. Although we went alone without our children, the resort is very family friendly and close to Aquaventures. Reservations are easy to make on OpenTable and I recommend making them a couple days before you get there, especially for the high end restaurants. We love that we can room charge at almost every location/shop, including those in the Marina. So many shops and places to grab quick bites and treats. The resort is HUGE but easily walkable. We stayed on the 18th floor of the Royal in an ocean view room and were considered VIP guests which gave us $150 resort credit each day and use of the VIP lounge for any issues. I will say that the only thing that we found unacceptable was that there was a CONSTANT dripping in the closet from the AC vent. Made us wonder how long it will be until mold forms underneath if there isn’t already some there. It was unpleasant walking on the wet spot BUT the room was beautiful and huge. Aquaventure was lots of fun and the abundance of pools makes this resort so worth it.

The Royal at Atlantis is a five-star hotel resort that met all of my and my family’s needs while we vacation in the Bahamas. It’s huge and basically like putting Las Vegas and Disney World water park in the middle of the Caribbean. Me and my family would come back here again and again. Lots to do and see. The only issue I would advise is check your spending account and billing statement on your TV to ensure it’s accurate. I highly recommend the Atlantis to any tourist with families.

This was our second trip to Atlantis in as many years and it will be our last. Last year when our family went, our kids said it was the best trip ever. This year they they gave it a 4/10. A resort with a massive waterpark managed to lose two boys (8 and 12) because the didn't open more than half of the waterslides on any given day. A few didn't open a single time during the entire week. When you have a resort full of people and multiple cruise ships on site you can't think that having half of your slides operational will be sufficient. There were times when the lines made their way down the muliple stories to ground level. We spent the majority of our time in the pools or at the beach. While they are quite nice, we can go to any resort and find the same. There are only so many times you can look at the aquariums and do the rapid river over the course of a week. Pair that with the Tyler Perry filming a movie and it made for a very sub-par experience. Entire areas were closed off (including the lobby) for them to film causing the other resort guests to be inconvienced. I'm sure he paid quite handsomely to film there and no fault to him, but the thousands of other people at the resort paid to be there as well. If we were to go back to the Bahamas, it would be to Baha Mar.

After staying at this resort over a dozen times... was upset the hotel, with over a weeks notice, would not provide us with a full refund when we weren't able to take our much needed trip! For returning guests, it would be an appreciated gesture... like a small acknowledgement for the tens of thousands we've paid to the resort, happily, on previous trips. Just makes us feel undervalued.
