The owner brought me a new one the next day. One thing that isn't necessarily evident in the photos is that the stairs to the bedrooms in the loft are very steep. "The remodeling/upgrades done on this 1900’s apartment are well done. They’ve modernized the apartment while keeping the classic charm. While Downton Appleton goes to sleep early (unless you enjoy bar hopping), the block that this apartment is located has a number of fun little shops/coffeehouses/eateries. There is also a large YMCA behind this apartment which offers day passes if you accustom to a daily workout. One negative (which is out of the control of this apartment owner) is parking....

"This was a nice large Studio Apartment converted from a 3 car garage. It was beautifully decorated all new appliances. Came with everything needed. Fyi, the bedroom has a 3/4 in wall separating the living room so it was not in closed. Perfect for a couple. Like the previous review, the outside curtains covering the front blow around and don't stay closed. Bring some clips. It would be better to have some inside. "The apartment was super clean and comfy, with everything we needed for our 5-night stay. We had an issue with the code on the apartment door, and Barb was immediately responsive. She even allowed us late check out, as there was no one coming immediately after we left. A very pleasant experience, all in all, in a sweet little town."

I’m also not sure why they include an oven/stovetop but don’t have any pots or pans. The shower was uncomfortably small and this led to several mishaps while showering. Aside from this, the property was serviceable. The air conditioner keeps the bed cool at night, and the bed was comfortable."
