5 BR/4 BA Home Newly Remodeled Spring 2023

Located 3.6 miles from the main gate to Walt Disney World, Mufasa's Pride is a completely remodeled, five bedroom, four bath home with a full kitchen and private pool. Free Wi-Fi is included.

What's new for 2023? There is a long list: new living room widescreen TV; new cookware, dinnerware and wine glasses; retiled flooring in the foyer, main living area, kitchen and dining room; same area repainted; removed popcorn ceiling in these areas too; kitchen island is now tiled; all doors, trim, baseboards, kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets repainted; new walk-in showers in all bathrooms; new toilets and bathroom sinks; new ceiling fans in main living area, all bedrooms and lanai; lots of new furniture; all new switches and outlets; and new smoke detectors.

Flat-screen TVs are located in the family room and all bedrooms. Each of the TVs is equipped with Roku or Amazon Fire Stick for streaming through your Netflix, Hulu, Sling or other subscription account. There is plenty of free streaming content available through Crackle, Pluto, Tubi and dozens of other apps available on Roku or Amazon Fire TV as well.

A full kitchen is available. The kitchen comes equipped with Keurig and drip coffee makers, dinnerware, pots and pans, toaster, blender, mixer and a crock pot. A roll of paper towels, dish soap, scrubbing sponge and two kitchen garbage bags are provided. There is also a gas barbecue grill available in the garage at no additional charge.

A new high efficiency washer and dryer were installed at Mufasa's Pride in 2023.

The bathrooms are furnished with towels, washcloths and hand towels. A roll of toilet paper is provided for each bathroom. There are also pool towels available for lounging by the pool.

Pool heating is available at an additional charge including applicable taxes.

Great stay
We had a wonderful time at Lou’s house It’s accurately described on VRBO( the pictures match with the house)has everything you need for a comfortable stay the neighborhood was nice and quiet and walkable. Walmart is 7 minutes away for groceries etc. There are a few good restaurants to choose from( Los Amigos in Westgate Resort and Villa Italian Chop House too which is across from Walmart and lots of chain restaurants. Disney is a short drive or if you want Lyft it was $18 one way. We recommend this home and would stay again.

Overall, this house was very great to stay in with the family. There is plenty of room to spread out yet all spend time together. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked, and the neighborhood is great. We stay in this same area quite a bit. It's an easy drive to all of Orlando's attractions. Communication was quick when needed. And the house is beautiful.

Great Stay!
The house was very clean and clearly well-kept. We had minor issues, but nothing we couldn't work around. When notified, the owner (Lou) responded quickly. There was ongoing communication throughout my entire stay. My party was originally staying at a hotel for several nights before arriving at the house, when I asked the owner if I could drop off my luggage at the house before heading to a park on check-in day, he immediately agreed. The beds are super comfortable and the big double couches in the living room are a plus. We were able to all sit together, including our teenage kids, and watch movies at night together. Everyone having their own bathroom was awesome!!! I would highly recommend renting this house and I look forward to renting it again in the future.

Absolutely Fantastic!
If you are planning a trip to Orlando, this is the property to book. The house is layed out with common areas in the center of home bringing everyone together, yet bedrooms that are spacious and perfectly appointed for privacy and rest. Everything you need is here with shopping close by. The pool temperature was wonderful, and outdoor area had lots of seating. The owners were easy to communicate with and answered any and all questions quickly. This was a multi generational trip for our family and everyone enjoyed this lovely home and we will definitely check to see if this property is available again in the future.

Beautiful home with plenty of space and ammenities. The home is located in a beautiful community and close to tons of restaurants, shopping centers, grocery stores, and all amusement parks especially Disney World!

The space of this home was amazing. It just seemed a little worn. It would have felt more accomadating if it had been updated. The pool needs cleaning and was unappealing to swim in due to the appearance of it. It was not what the pictures showed by any means. The patio furniture is worn out. The bedding is worn out. It just needs to be refreshed.

Lou and Maria are wonderful to work with! My family has been renting from them since 2007. We have never had any issues. It was good.
It was overall a good vacation. There were a few things that need improvement, such as the lock to enter the house was not functioning as the email stated, the master bedroom mattress on the left side of the house squeaked with the slightest movements and the television in that room was black. You couldn’t see the picture at times. The television in the master bedroom on the right side of the house didn’t work. Lastly, there was no television in one of the bedrooms.

A beautiful home!
This was the first time that my husband and I were able to go on a trip with both of our daughters and their whole families- usually one of the son in law’s or one of the children doesn’t get to go for one reason or another. So it was wonderful to be able to plan a Disney trip that included ALL of us and be able to all stay together under one roof! We had brought all of our own disposable plates, cups, etc. so that we wouldn’t have to wash dishes. With 12 of us (one being a 7 month old!) we had a lot of garbage. We ended up packing up a lot of it to take home because of the restrictions on how much garbage you could leave when checking out. There were also only 2 partial rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, so we did have to purchase additional toilet paper. But other than those two little minor issues - I would stay in the same rental again in a heartbeat! We all were extremely comfortable there! Wished it hadn’t been so cold, would have loved to have gotten in some swimming other than just the evening we first arrived. The owner was super helpful and accomodating. If we ever get to return, I will most definitely try to stay in Mufasa’s Pride! The convenience of being close to Disney, Wal Mart, etc. was wonderful! Thanks to the owner for allowing us to stay there!

The house is beautiful. Nicely decorated. The WiFi was open and terrible. No movies. We had to stream using our data on our cell phones. The Pots and pans were severaly scratched up. Eggs stuck terribly to the pans. If you don’t smoke be sure to bring a lighter if you want to use the grill. The igniter doesn’t work on the grill. We had to go back out after a long day of travel to get a lighter. The pool was freezing! 65 degrees. You can heat it for an additional fee. Not sure what that cost is. We chose not to use the pool. Overall a great value for a house. We had a great time.

Excellent house to stay with a large family.
My wife and I stayed here with my four kids and my two in-laws and had plenty of space. You are very close to the Disney theme parks (15 mins) and very close to shopping. The amenities are just like images you see in the listing. The house is a rental so there are signs of use. But all in all, if we return to the Orlando area we will stay here again. Lou is great and very responsive. The rooms are very spacious and the floor plan is well laid out to separate all parties into their own areas. The only real complaint would be the number of towels in the rental. There is a washer and dryer so not a big deal, but could use a few more towels in a large rental such as this. If you are in the area visiting Disney and need a large space you can't go wrong with this property. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This house is great for large families! Plenty of room to eat, play, whatever! There were six of us, even though we planned on more who cancelled out in the end. We were experiencing FL "winter", so we didn't get to enjoy the pool/patio, but it looks wonderful and fun! We also planned on a pet, but ended up leaving him at dog sitters due to not knowing how he would tolerate the living situation when gone for hours and the cold weather. The house is clean and neat with plenty of towels, sheets, etc for the bedrooms. The kitchen provides plenty of cooking room and prep area, a huge fridge, etc. We only used it for breakfast and snacks. What I didn't like is the lack of cleaning provisions, No sponge, no dishwasher liquid or dishrags for cleaning dishes by hand, no all-purpose cleaner for counters or tables. Bathroom soap was limited to a bar adequate for Barbie's townhouse. Also, it took 2 days to figure out how to operate the large TV in the living room. We never could get the lamps on the side tables to work, even though we plugged them in. SUGGESTIONS: Please provide information somehow to address the TV and lamp situations, as well as a cable channel guide. Many wall switches are labeled, but not all. Also, a notebook with local information about grocery stores, restaurants, etc as well as map of area and directions to attractions would be helpful. A guestbook would be nice, too.
