"My son and I stayed to spend the week at EAA Airventure. The location was great for that as it's about 10 miles from the EAA grounds. The house appears older and could use some updating but was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The two beds we used were comfortable, though slightly firmer than what we are used to. "Cabin was very clean and modern, while keeping the log cabin feel. Owners have thought of everything, with little touches all over the place (seating by creek on trails, buckets to carry wood, life jackets for the boats, etc.). Offering the wood for purchase (honor system) was also a great perk. We caught many fish at the lake, saw all kinds of interesting animals (giant turtle, woodpeckers, owl). Truly a wonderful place!"
