"the hostel itself is great. the people running it are very friendly and will give you recommendations for the city. however, the area it’s located in is quite ugly and filled with people living in the street which as a solo traveler can be quite scary. "

"The Stanley was modern and chic. Staff was friendly, breakfast was AWESOME. Loved the view of the Acropolis. I highly recommend NOT choosing the city view, rather the Acropolis view for your hotel room. The city view overlooked a bunch of run down grafittied buildings. Close to museums, Acropolis, the Plaka, etc. We loved it there."
