The positives: it was located downtown and close to the places we needed to go, the staff who checked us in was friendly (she gave us breakfast vouchers when I reported that the window had no covering), the rooms were huge, there was workout equipment in the room and workout programs on the TV), the bed was comfortable, the shower was very nice, and there were workout opportunities (classes, a fitness room, etc.)in the hotel.
The negatives: the huge street-facing window in our room had no covering ( the blind was broken, rolled up, and lying on the sill), the TV didn’t work (I reported this in our way to dinner, and by the time we returned, it was fixed), the room smelled somewhat smoky, the ice machine on our floor was not functional, and the hot food on the breakfast buffet was not very good.
Overall, this hotel has a lot of promise, but during our stay, it was not at its finest.
