"Used to be ones of my best. The hotel is still nice but needs a remodel. It’s really getting old. Library bar is still amazing as is the restaurant. Service is great with who is there but seems very understaffed "

"This was an escape from the chain hotel operations that are everywhere. It also isn't a huge corporate hotel. The Melrose is an intimate, almost old-world hotel with a great bar, close-in to downtown Dallas. It wasn't cheap, but it was reasonable, considering the classy operation it is. "
