My family liked this hotel for our trip to NY due to its locations to many things. While it gets VERY busy in the Times Square area, it is a great location for food, shopping, and catching the subway to other burros. The staff were attentive at the elevators and assisted with housekeeping when added items were needed for the room. Loved having the mini fridge and the clothing steamer was a plus! We would definitely stay here again.

The male staff at the front desk was not friendly. But without him, the cleaning condition, the bed, and the bathroom were pretty good. The staff holding the elevator at the entrance and the staff handling the luggage, especially the male staff at the restaurant, were quite friendly.

This is a great hotel right in the moddle of Time Square so very convenient to shows and restaurants! If you are looking for a quiet area this is not it, but we couldn't hear any of the traffic from our room. The gym was great but thats about it for amenities. We just had a drink and appetizers at hotel so not sure about the food.

Felt very safe and staff is quick and reliable. 3rd time here since Sept and this is my go to hotel. Great place, great staff, and walking distance to many good places. Def recommend it for anyone. May need ice machines for guests that’s about it. I like my drinks with ice just saying.

This is one of the best day that I ever had throughout my traveling. I enjoyed it very much. Your staff is excellent. Everybody was right on Q when it came to service regarding the elevators regarding the housekeeping even when we left our luggage after we checked out, we felt secured very, very secured at your location, even when we were at seventh Avenue and 42nd St. you guys rock.

Be Aware!!! The Hilton wants to Charge an additional $38.95 each night as a resort fee. This is not disclosed on Expedia because they don’t have a clue. The Tempo by Hilton present this at check in which is not right. Disclose all fees up front and not wait until a person is checking in or checking out. The topper is they did not provide a receipt so you can look at your daily charges and make sure nothing was charged to your room that shouldn’t be. In addition, the front desk clerk could visually see the charges but couldn’t print a receipt, because their system was backing up at 6:00 in the morning. What happened to print screen. Then after we returned home, we tried multiple times to call the Hotel direct and they will not answer their phone. So we called corporate Hilton and it took forever, but we finally got a representative…. however, she had to call the hotel direct and transfer. Same scenario once we got a person on the line, and they still couldn’t provide a receipt. I would steer very clear of this property as I consider it wrong on how they are doing business and won’t provide a receipt. I did ask corporate before they transferred if they do this at all Hilton properties and she said no. Lastly, the fire alarm goes off the last night at 3:25 am as a false alarm. How does an alarm go off falsely?? Also, the shower was back up water and I had to call to have that cleaned. A previous guest left a pair of sox in the cubical shelf in the room we were staying

Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at if you’re planning on leaving the hotel and not stay inside all day. There’s not much to do (no pool/spa/etc). But it’s close to a lot of popular tourist attractions, and it’s a very clean/new hotel with water dispensers in the lobby and on some of the floors. Some staff are lacking in customer service. For example, I had a cleaner scoff at me/outright refuse to change out garbages, and a bellman dismiss me- instead choosing to loudly gossip with a co-worker. Probably would not stay here again because of this. However, most workers went above and beyond.

Perfect location to be in the centre of everything. Room was very clean and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in! On 17th floor, noise from sirens could be heard but that's all and didn't disturb my sleep. Room storage and features are perfectly adequate. Aircon worked really well too. Staff as helpful as you would expect, nothing more, but nothing less either. I would happily stay here again.

Hilton is a big and rich hotel chain, yet they are greedy!!! No option for late check out for free, not even 30m delay, they asked 50$ for 30m delay. They now moved to become the last option for accommodation.
