"The Golden rock Inn is a very special place. Up in the cooler rainforest on the side of Nevis Peak, it is a paradise of greenery and tranquility. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and extremely gracious, it feels like a private hideaway on a hillside with an absolutely, amazing restaurant to boot! We came for several quiet days after a stay at the Four Seasons, and it was the perfect counterpoint to a beautiful stay on Nevis. Highly recommend! "

There is actually someone staying downstairs and this rental is just the top floor. That was not a problem in itself, just a surprise. If there was a BBQ (which the listing says it has) we could not find it, and the email asking this question of Juliet (property manager) prior to our arrival was...

I loved the screened-in porch (fabulous for days when it rains); David gave a FANTASTIC massage; Chef Ricky served a tasty chicken roti (the rum punch was DELICIOUS); the staff was kind and welcoming. The property isn't modern, but it meets your needs. If you want granite and luxury, stay elsewhere. This is truly quaint and familiar. I felt safe, respected, and a part of the family.
