Have stayed at the Anderson on and off for years. At this point it’s a TIRED hotel. Sent advance request for hypoallergenic bedding (husband has severe down allergy). Received email from management ahead of stay saying “don’t worry — we got this!” Six down pillows on bed in unit. Impossible to air out bedroom after their removal. Furniture in units is shabby, Floors sticky. Smoke alarm was beeping intermittently in unit on check-in. Needed battery. Light bulbs burned out. Asked for housekeeping service (after none provided for four days). Desk said of course, etc., but no one showed. Finally had a perfunctory floor sweep and some clean towels on day 5 of a 6-night stay. Think it’s time to find a better hotel.

It was really nice to have a kitchen and a washer/dryer. We had a partial ocean view which was nice but wish the balcony was just a bit bigger. We would stay there again

Unfortunately I was treated like a second class citizen and it felt like I was treated that way because I booked through Expedia. I couldn’t even get sugar to make my morning coffee and me and my family stayed 3 nights.

I had the pleasure of a 3 night stay at Anderson Ocean Club and Beach resort in April 2024, the experience was excellent, prompt friendly service, the rooms weee immaculate, anything I needed I texted the front desk(favorite feature) and any request I had was answered. 10 out of 10, I’d definitely recommend.

We stayed in the partial ocean view suit. Very pleased with our room, the amenities and the helpful staff. The hotel room was very clean, beds were comfortable and clean. I am very picky about hotels and this one exceeded my expectations. The coffee shop downstairs has delicious coffee! The bellhop helped us get our stuff from our rooms and load it in our car. We will be back, for sure!!

The property looked very nice on the outside, very dated on the inside. Sheets on the bed were tattered. The room had a bad smell and the air conditioning was not working properly. The furniture is old and worn and the walls/doors looked as though the process of removing the paint has been started, but stopped mid project.

My teen daughter and I had a great stay at the Anderson. We loved the ocean view condo. The property is clean with a nice pool and beach area. Walking distance to the Boardwalk and other shopping and restaurants. We also loved our experience at the spa on the Anderson property.

The Front desk Staff and Valet Parking attendants made our stay at Anderson Ocean Club and Spa in Myrtle Beach wonderful!! They were so accommodating and kind. The Valet attendants were so helpful with parking our car, retrieving the car and also all our luggage (as we were a party of 9). I look forward to future stays at the Anderson!!

This is our second time staying here when we come to Myrtle Beach. Our room was nice and we loved the free DVD rentals. You can easily walk to some great restaurants and our favorite ice cream place.

Hotel stag was so kind and accommodating. Room was clean and furniture and carpets were new. I have no complaints about this facility at all …except area did not seem very safe. Beach was beautiful and pool was clean with towels available. Nicest staff I have seen in quite sometime!!

Location was perfect. Room clean, staff attentive, indoor pool was being serviced, not mentioned in booking. Over our 6 night stay- Every time we tried to go onto our oceanfront balcony we were overcome with marijuana smoke. 8 am or 4:30 pm or 10pm. Constant barrage of marijuana smoke.... on a totally smoke free property. We paid for ocean front, but could only appreciate the view from Inside.
