Dear expedia Manager, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding my recent stay at your hotel( Hygie Boutique). Unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience, encountering several issues that significantly impacted the quality of my stay. From the moment I entered my room, I was dissatisfied with the conditions and immediately requested a refund and cancellation of my reservation. However, I was informed that it was not possible and was instead offered another room. To my dismay, the alternative room provided was also subpar, lacking both proper lighting and essential amenities such as towels and even a bottle of water. Furthermore, I was alarmed and disturbed when an individual entered my room at 4 AM, only to hastily leave upon seeing me and my spouse present. This incident greatly compromised our sense of security and made it difficult for us to sleep for the remainder of the night. To compound the issues, the lack of parking facilities led to a penalty fee of $91 for my vehicle. This added inconvenience and unexpected cost further contributed to my overall dissatisfaction with the hotel. Considering the magnitude of these problems and the extent to which they affected my stay, I kindly request a full refund for the amount I paid for the hotel. I believe it is only fair and justifiable given the numerous shortcomings and inconveniences I experienced during my time at your establishment. I would like to emphasize that I am ac

The location is great. We had a great weekend walking around the old port. The property itself is a basement and was not super clean. Our bed sheets when we arrived had old makeup and hair but they were great and allowed us to switch rooms. For the price and location I would consider staying again but definitely feel Hygie needs to look at the cleanliness of the place.

Parking is on street which was a problem finding anything. Room smells like cigarettes. I will never stay here again and will be sure that everyone knows that this is not a good place to stay.

I barely slept because of the noise from the street and from inside the hotel (it seemed the staff was doing something overnight and not sure if other guesses were also loud). The front of the hotel was dusty and didn’t have a front desk, just sort of a podium with a kiosk on the side. At the time of checking out, nobody was available and we kept ringing the bell until someone answered the intercom (maybe we checked out too early). Pillows were think. Pros: room is well remodeled, nice and clean. Hotel is located at walking distance from Place d’arms and restaurants.
