"I worried about noise from the street and other rooms. I heard no one from the other rooms and I didn’t hear any noise from outside. We were also on an inside room with no view, but that was fine with me. Great service and friendly staff!! "

The Plaza - A Fairmont Managed Hotel
5.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1002)
"The Plaza is of course iconic. The building is very old so not everything is spotless. Old curtains get stuck; light interruptors sometimes fail, etc. The staff is not the most friendly - they have some attitude. But if you show the money, you can have the time of your life. Still a great experience. "

"Very basic hotel in the middle of Manhattan. Rooms were neat with platform bed (no boxspring) with very hard mattress. Furniture was of the pressed wood variety. This is a value hotel, not luxury. Breakfast was included (bagel or muffin and coffee). Front desk was efficient, and bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and water pressure."

"Ok so this hotel has pros and cons, as most do. First, the location is great, right next to Penn Station and Madison Square Gardens. We found it quiet enough in the rooms. A/C was loud but worked really well. 3 restaurants including a diner where food was nice and simple, think wings, burgers, blts, etc. Staff were friendly. Beds and pillows wete fantastic ! All 5 of us agreed. CONS. No coffee station in room , no safe, no mini fridge. And they charged a facility fee of 30 US a night, which...
