I enjoyed the room. The AC didn't work well. Charged $12 per day for parking. Surprised $100 damage deposit. Convenient location. Airport transportation/Uber was great. No waiting. Had pool, games and lounge. Overall, a decent place to stay. Would stay at A loft again.

The staff was king which is an important factor for me. The room was large and clean. The ceiling and wall had exposed pipe and could have use a little paint but overall my experience was great. There’s a little snack counter in the lobby if you’re hungry and need something quick. Check out in at 11 which was perfect for me because our cruise was boarding at 3pm. Would definitely recommend Aloft.

During our stay the A.C went out in our room causing the inconvenience of packing and moving rooms. The manager was very polite and placed us in another room immediately. Outside of this event the hotel is great

Im not sure why this property had 3 stars but it definitely deserves a better rating. It looks exactly like the pictures and is gorgeous. I will definitely return when I come back to Miami.

Excelente ubicación. El aire acondicionado no enfriaba suficiente. Hablé con la chica de recepción y envió a alguien que supuestamente lo arregló pero siguió sin enfriar y por eso no pude dormir bien. Sólo estuve una noche.

The property needs a facelift. Obvious wear and tear on facility takes away from staying there. Also staff was not very attentive to an issue with room. I found housekeeping myself and took care of it myself but shouldnt have had to. The room was.at least clean and quiet. BUT this Aloftneeds a ser I ous remodel.and update.

The rooms are dark and dim. The lighting was not great at all. The person at the counter overnight was not pleasant or helpful at all. My phone did not work, I had to call the front desk from my cellular phone and when I complained, he told me this is not his hotel and I would have to talk to the manager in the morning, he was rude and unpleasant. The manager, however, was so pleasant. The next morning she made up for his behavior and made me feel much better.

Front desk staff were friendly, attentive and made the stay enjoyable. They sent text messages through out our stay to make sure we were satisfied they made placing housekeeping requests easy. The location of the hotel provided easy access to 2 dining options and 2 major coffee shops without even crossing the street. It is also located next to a car rental agency should you choose to rent a vehicle. The hotel provides complimentary rides to and from the airport which was easy to confirm and made arriving to the hotel a breeze. It was only a 15 min drive to Miami International Airport, nearby malls, additional dining options and FIU’s main campus which was incredibly convenient. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed for 3 nights, about 15 mins from south beach I rather not stay on the strip, but the room during the day the room was real stuffy, I wish it would’ve got colder as far as the AC, other than no complaints.

Overall a good hotel, very polite and accommodating staff. The hotel is supposed to offer shuttle service to and from the airport. This is not the case. There is a complimentary uber instead, which will do.

This hotel is not too far from the airport and it’s near a number of places to eat within walking distance. However the cleanliness of the hotel is not the best. We’ve stayed here 2 separate occasions and both times the room had pet odors. Which I am assuming is from the carpets. Also the most recent stay there was trash left on the night stand a half empty water bottle and the disposable was used and left out. The iron was also sitting on the nightstand. I’ll never stay here again.

They charge for early check in even up to an hour. We were willing to pay and they told us no rooms were available. 5 minutes later we watched a couple walk right in and be checked in. When we asked about the situation they had no idea what to say and said we would have to wait another hour for a room. When we asked why they charge for early check in when they didn’t the year prior they said “to incentivize the housekeeping to work faster”. I don’t typically complain but I think it’s crazy to tell a customer they have to pay additional for their teak to work efficiently.
