Firstly the lady at the reception was very very rude then we stayed in a room with a broken bed and l can’t believe it even has any stars was super disappointed and l will never stay at this hotel again In the morning l requested for a late check out the lady went to say only vip get late check out 😳😳so I stayed for free???

The location was great - South Beach was very walkable including all its bars. There was lots of nightlife but we didn’t feel like it was loud in our room. The dining spot on site was the best part - Would be cool if they offered discounts for hotel guests although we had fun anyway. Rooftop pool and bar was fun. very kind of them to give us a complimentary bottle of wine. on our arrival.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at the Fairwind, and it was a very pleasurable experience. The front desk is very accommodating if you need anything. It’s clean and a very close proximity to the beach. You can get fresh beach towels every day which was very convenient. It is definitely a better place for adults.

Gave us an occupied room. Opened door walked in and found clothes and shoes in it. When notified front desk I was told it shouldn’t be occupied. After convincing them got another room. Did not like that there was no secondary secure lock besides door lock. Furniture in room old and beat up. Would not recommend.

I wished the buildings around the property were connect well. Both my boyfriend and i had to go to the main building where the rooftop pool is and the elevator wait time was kind of long. Other then that, its a great hotel to stay at and staff were friendly and professional.

We not only got upgraded when we got there. The front desk staff, cleaning service, bar sevice at Sola was ALLLLL AMAZING. I have been coming to Southbeach for 21 yrs and thos is definitely one of my favorite hotels. I will be staying here again.

Hotel has no microwave, pool close too early, no gym, pool umbrella was broken throughout the stay, pool cold on low temperature weather and enough lounge chairs at the pool.

I learned my lesson on to be more selective with my booking regarding hotels. This hotel is for the young party life. I had great difficulty getting rest and sleep because of all the noise and the party atmosphere.

The room smell like smoke and unfortunately I had to leave because the smell was unbearable for someone with asthma! I requested a refund and was denied even tho I didn’t get to fulfill my reservation due to the smell.. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Vibe attempt was good (rooftop pool and bar) however the property arises a bit run down, overdue for repairs, may appear dirtier than it really is. Check-in was extremely slow but it was only one guy for most of that time. Slow sink drain but good shower. Balcony and room size was good. Attached restaurant, Sola, did not have good customer service - unfriendly staff. Music was good and the duck in the central decorative pool/water bed is a cute touch and vibe. Overall, possibly a really nice hotel when it first opened. Great location, served its purpose.

When they clean rooms they put to much strong smells and it made me so sick I had to leave that hotel and go get another one. Rooms to small. No microwave. No where to put your luggage. Just awful. Never want to stay there again even if they gave it to me free. No thanks.
