Riads in Medina of Tangier

"We booked a Deluxe Room with Sea View for ourselves and Deluxe Double with Sea View for our college age kids. Our stay was exceptional. The hotel is in the center of the International section of Tangier and is conveniently located near the ferry. Everything from the check-in to the rooms themselves was first rate. The restaurant was wonderful and the breakfast was outstanding. The rooftop bar in the evening gives you one of the best views of Tangier on the Mediterranean. It was fun to be able to see camels on the beach from our expansive terrace. I would highly recommend the Barcelo if you are visiting Tangier. "

Everything about this hotel is stellar--the building's beautiful architecture and unique spaces, the Moroccan ornamentation everywhere, the condition of the rooms, and the various restaurant choices (some of the best Moroccan cuisine I've had). The friendly and helpful management and reception staff stand out in particular. The cooks, restaurant servers, and room cleaners also contribute to the excellent experience. "

"Wow! Amazing! Wish I had more days to stay! The roof top area is STUNNING and available 24/7. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view, eating breakfast and evening drinks. The staff is WONDERFUL, they took such great care of us. Experienced the hammam and an in room massage. They made dinner reservations for us and booked transportation to and from the airport for us. The room was clean and quiet. Bathroom, clean, plenty of hot water and spacious! Don't wait another minute, book! And add an extra day! You won't be disappointed."

"A colonial gem in the old town. I stayed twice, the first time in a large room, with beautiful furniture and the second room more of a modern feel. Both rooms were spotless. The breakfast was amazing. A huge variety of options for veggie and non vegetarian and you can have this on the terrace overlooking the harbour. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "
