After having an issue when checking in we went into the hall to our room. The hall smelled terrible like pied in diapers. The room also had a very bad smell. All the rugs were very very dirty. The sheets looked clean but the cover was dirty with holes. The tiled floors in the bathroom and entry area was very slippery. The tv remote did not work. Had to use the side of tv to turn on. We used our fire stick. The back door by our room was not lockable even though there was a sign stating it was locked at night. There was no way that door could be locked because there was an area where the striker w would latch that was cut out. Breakfast was a joke. Only waffles and cereal with no milk with an hour to go for breakfast. Will never stay there again.

I used to stay here when it was a Best Western and at my last stay I decided I would never stay here again. Well, much to my chagrin, when I booked the Baymont I didn’t realize it was just the BW re-branded😭 The staff is always very pleasant but the property is VERY rundown, musty, smells of smoke and the furniture and carpet are stained. At least the families living there seem to have gone. Nice location but I will never stay again.

We have stayed here many times and it had an odor and not cleaned the best. It is being renovated and has improved so much! The two things that bother us is that the bed is very high and extremely firm. I have to put the ottoman beside the bed to get in. The other thing is the toilet is so low that you think you’re going to fall before you sit on it. Also hard to stand from such a low angle.

I stayed there in January, and I had a scary experience. When I checked in, a female staff member was ranting about having to clean up s*&t somewhere there shouldn't have been. When I got to my room, the security lock was broken to the point that someone could reach in my door. Between 7 and 9:30 P.M., I had 3 people try to open my door. Though I had paid for 2 nights, I left at 9:30 on my first night. When I called the next day, I was told that the $153 would be refunded to my account. At this point, I have received nothing. I have stayed there probably 20 times in the last 3 years, and I am disappointed in the response. I will not stay again.

Loved that this was a pet friendly hotel with a king size bed available for a low price. Wasn't as happy about the room being right next to an exit door that was in constant use throughout the night, causing my dog to get nervous and bark all night.
