My husband had his phone stolen, whilst we were out near lucky Chinatown, the team at Somerset were so helpful, accompanying him to the police station to do reports. A very big thank you from us. Rooms big and very comfortable bed, we had a washing machine in our 1 bed apartment, very useful, but there were also machines to use by swimming pool. Breakfast choice is OK, only includes basic filter coffee, no cappuccino etc, but you could buy this at the same cafe. Limited fruits and vegetables. Well located for public transport or walking.

hotel was clean but I had stayed with 10 more bugs in the room. and it was difficult to catch the mobile phone signal in the room. in order to find signal and make the phone call I had to come down to the hotel lobby. that was amazing experience!!!

Overall is good. However, the breakfast is miserable. Very few options. I found fruit flys on the fruit. The pavers are wobble. The floor is so slippery which makes the dinning table moving around.

Lifesaving Customer Service
We needed a hotel room very early in the morning as a result of flight cancellation. All the other properties I called for would not adapt to our needs but Somerset listened and helped us get a room for until our next flight. The staff were very friendly and were able to help with all our questions, from how to use Grab to when the local market was open. Breakfast was reasonably good with many options, but no tea only coffee. The pool was great and not crowded at all (we were the only ones who used it at the time both times). Bed comfy, great rain head shower, robes, slippers…what more do you need?

I'm glad I booked this hotel for my whole family of 12 to celebrate my birthday. The staff are all accommodating and courteous, the rooms are all beautiful, spacious, and clean. I actually booked two 3-bedroom units but was advised days before that the other 3-bdrm unit had a problem and instead offered a 2-bdrm and a premier studio unit which worked out in the end because we are all on the same floor and both the 3-bdrm and 2-bdrm had a balcony. Loved that this hotel is pet-friendly, too! We enjoyed their well-equipped gym, their pool, and their buffet breakfast. My niece and nephew also had fun in their Easter egg hunting event. Definitely reco this hotel and we will definitely be back!

Best Hotel with Worst Restaurant
Great hotel, staff is friendly and very welcoming. Hotel has all amenities, but their restaurant is worst, serve the basic and cold breakfast, restaurant staff is rude, You can visit hotel restaurant if you want attitude. Hotel Management must work on improving restaurant services. They are leaving bad impression on their other good services.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I had an overall amazing experience with this hotel. I booked at this hotel several times because of how clean it was. And for me, cleanliness is very important. Also the breakfast was decently good.

Hidden Gem
Overall i would definitely recommend Somerset. Rooms are set up nice and beds are very comfortable. All the staff are well trained, accommodating and very helpful. Their gym and swimming pool are well maintained so we enjoyed ourselves there. Most of all this is a real pet friendly hotel coz my dogs were allowed in the pool and dining area. You can walk around and discover so many nice dining areas. There is a dog park around 2 blocks away and the famous salcedo Saturday market is just right around the corner. Very safe neighborhood
