Most beautiful stay we've had
The loghome was absolutely beautiful. Between the nature and all its surroundings it was hard to leave. The little black cat and bumble bees made it a warm welcome from the start. The hottub was wonderful! We will absolutely be back again! Thank you to the owners!

Heavens Porch
The cabin had a nice feel nestled at the top of a hill with great views! The location is close to many amenities. If we are in the area again we would definitely choose this cabin again.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful woodwork. Unfortunately most reviews fail to mention the loud electrical buzzing coming off the multitude of power lines right next to the porch. Cabin was unfortunately not very clean either, I found about 20 black inch long hairs in the bed i choose and the other bed had ladybugs crawling over it from an open vent leading outside.

We take great pride in sharing our private vacation cabin with couples and families. For over 8 years we have been rated as the #1 Cabin Rental in Kentucky, working diligently to not raise our price and provide the best affordable and quality stay. We have double checked the items listed and taken every necessary precaution to ensure our guests do not have the same experience. There is no open vent leading outside. There is power lines near the home that lead across the lake. This is the first time in 8 years they've been mentioned as a negative. Most people talk about the clear skies and stars that you can see for days. We thank Shannon for the 4 star review though even after all that LOL. The Boggs Family

Great Stay.
The cabin was immaculately clean on arrival, and perfect for our plans in the area. Everything was accurate in the listing. We couldn't fire up the stove, but honestly didn't try too hard after the initial attempt. The host was excellent with communication and very helpful. If we're ever back that way we will definitely stay there again. Thank you for letting us use your place, we treated it as if were our own, maybe better :)

Mike and his guest were great to host for Deer Camp. They stayed 2 weeks and hunted the public property around the lake. The buck stove with the gas insert knob was stripped from a previous guest. This has been fixed and its operating. We look forward to having them back again during hunting season in Eastern KY. The Boggs Family

Relax and unwind
The drive to the cabin was quite easy, nice large area for parking. The cabin looks like the pictures, and was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Two thumbs up!

Wonderful place to get away and enjoy the changing of the seasons... beautiful views from both decks, and anywhere else on the property. Hot tub, and fire pit appreciated. We did have the unfortunate experience of fighting asian beetles as they wrre looking for warm place to winter... Ive had this problem at my own place in the past, so pulled out the vacuum, and solved the problem. Didnt rate lower ...because...nature!

Weekend getaway
Place was nice and secluded, quite relaxing. We didn’t get use out of the fire pit, it definitely would’ve been better suited out back, and not on the edge of a hill. The cabin could use a good deep clean to be honest but it didn’t ruin the trip. We had a small issue turning on the heat but property manager was there really quickly and was so nice! Next time we will bring our own pillows and maybe try out the other bed, the master was a little rough on our backs lol overall this place is complete with everything you need and mostly well kept! If traveling in winter definitely drive a truck because that drive way is a doozy! Regardless of anything mentioned and not mentioned, we would and probably still will come back. There’s nothing to really do in Louisa, but that was the point, it’s beautiful and relaxing, the hot tub was fantastic! Thanks for a great stay!!!

If you're looking for relaxation and fishing this is the place!
My husband and I stayed here for our 15 year anniversary for 5 nights and we did not want to leave. The fact that we could rent their kayaks (which we did) and walk across the road and fish anytime we wanted was what sold it for us. Plus the hot tub on the covered porch was the perfect place to soak and enjoy our drinks. We had dinner on the second story balcony while we watched the sun set over the lake and then used our telescope to look at the stars. Did I mention how clear the night sky was? Not only that you can't beat the price for this beautiful cabin. Thanks be to God its affordable for families. And the name of the cabin. Need I say more. You won't be disappointed ❤️ We will definetly be back.

Beautiful Cabin!
Top notch cabin! It is definitely comparable and even better than some of the ones we’ve stayed at in TN, hocking hills, red river gorge… and in our case, much closer to home and way cheaper! It was easy to get to, super clean, the hot tub was HOT, and has easy access to the lake. Yatesville has plenty to do! We brought our own kayaks and paddle boards, but the cabin has two there. Although we didn’t use them, they are super nice. we enjoyed floating on the lake, fishing, and spent a day at The Cove. I’d you haven’t heard of it, check it out for the kids! The location is also close to town for any runs you need to make to Walmart, gas stations, food or Walgreens! Everything was as described. We are definitely interested in renting again in the future. Thank you so much for our stay!

Quiet stay - beautiful location
Loved our stay. Make sure you move shower handle all the way left and then back right some or water will not be hot enough to shower in. It also takes 3-4 minutes to warm up so be patient. Otherwise my husband loved the fishing and I loved the hot tub!

Our experience at this cabin was wonderful. We had one question at the beginning of our stay and the property manager answered and took care of it right away. I've saw in previous reviews something about dogs barking and we bearly heard them one time throughout our stay, really not a big deal at all. Everything is exactly as pictured it's absolutely beautiful. Aaron also sent a quick email checking to make sure everything was ok during our stay which we thought was really nice. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Absolutely delightful! Thank you for making us feel so welcome in your cabin!

Our Visit to Kentucky
Our stay at Heaven's Porch was very nice. The view from the upstairs deck was beautiful and the towns nearby were quaint as well as friendly. Yatesville State Park is about a mile away and we enjoyed walking the trails. Aaron was very quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Overall, our trip was enjoyable.

Awesome cabin!
This Cabin was Charming! It looks just like the pictures but better. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The location was remote and peaceful. We saw a bald eagle. The view of the lake is very small and the location of the cabin is not on the busy part of the lake where the marina is. That part of the lake is a drive from the cabin.

Great stay, we loved this cozy cabin!
We had a really good stay at Heaven's Porch. We loved the hot tub and cozy feel of the cabin. They provided us with the essentials. I would bring extra kleenex, napkins, and maybe TP if you're staying for a week. They have a coffee maker and keurig, which was very nice. We didn't know until the last day, but there are some nice trails in the back yard. Checkout Carter Caves if you get a chance, very cool. There is not a lot to do close by, so if you don't mind doing day trips to sight see, you will be fine. We enjoyed the scenery and downtime. The neighbors dogs did bark quite a bit, but not non-stop. It didn't bother me, but some people it might? If you visit Ashland, check out the restaurant, Bombshells and Ales, so good! The owner was very responsive and helpful, check-in and check-out were no big deal. I left my smart watch there and he sent it ups to my house, above and beyond customer service! Thank you! 😊

Valentine’s Day Weekend
The property is lovely. Very quiet area other than the neighbors dogs barking all night. Beautiful hiking trails all over the place. And the owners answered all of our questions almost instantly.

Weekend Getaway
Perfect weekend getaway! The hot tub was perfect with the snow falling. Max came to visit! We can't wait to book again!

Friends getaway
After a long, hard trip to get there with a ton of unexpected issues it was wonderful arriving at this cabin. Upon arrival we were able to relax and enjoy. Everything was perfect.
