If your looking for a clean bed where you can lay your head down 10/10. If your looking for luxury this is not it. But if your just visiting London on vacation your not really there for the hotel anyways a clean bed is all you really need

Decent hotel - no sleep in!
Good accomodation - the shared bathrooms were clean and regularly restocked with towels. The rooms and shower cubicles were big enough in comparison to other London hotels. 2 criticisms - the walls and doors were so thin you can hear your neighbours talking. The housekeeping staff came by at 0830 everyday (including weekends and checkout days). The barely paused between knocking and entering and if you said you didn't want housekeeping they'd come back every 1.5 hours to check if you'd changed your mind!!

Avoid! The worst hotel I've been to in my life
I've been to budget hotel before but this was a tragedy. Hotel staff simply don't seem to care. They treat you like it's a dormitory with strict rules. I tried to have a friend over for a birthday drink, they stopped the elevator and didn't let us up. I offered to pay extra for a guest. They just refused. The bathrooms and showers are disgusting, very dirty, have no amenities in them. The room is tiny and dirty. Bed is not comfortable. walls are thin, you can hear EVERYTHING even with ear plugs. They don't deserve your business. NO VALUE AT ALL

You should not be selling this hotel!!! I had to move to another hotel and lost my money that i had paid!! I will not be using your services again!!!

Location fine but that's about all!
The room was adequate but tatty. The bathrooms handy but hardly luxurious! However our main issue was the breakfast-served in the dismal basement by staff whose face would have cracked if they allowed even the ghost of a smile to appear-maybe they were auditioning for 'The Addams Family'? The food was ghastly too-rubber toast,bacon that must have been cooked a year ago, freezing fried eggs and it must have taken years of practice to make coffee that awful!

No Frills and a bit tired
This hotel is OK if all you want is a clean bed to get your head down for the night. It was a very cold day and the room was not too warm. For the price you couldn't expect a lot and as such I was not disappointed. My only real gripe was that even though the room had a fridge and kettle it only had one mains socket for them to share and no other socket to charge a phone or laptop. After removing the short circuit from the TV aerial cable I got a very good picture but a 15" screen, 10 feet from the bed head didn't make for good viewing. Although the reception staff were OK the dining room staff were a bit lacking in personal skills.

Old building with so many shortcomings, complete lack of modernization... it's like it hasn't been renovated in 30-40 years. More than cold room, no window insulation, torn curtains, used bed mattress, old carpet that is no longer suitable for cleaning, TV from the 80s, the entire condition of the hotel is about the 80s, but a dilapidated version of it. The only thing was good, that it was near to several underground and was easy to reach many places in London.

Alojamiento bastante decepcionante pero para lo que se paga por el pues bueno… no volvería a hospedarme aquí prefiero invertir un poco más en un hotel en Londres porque ha sido una experiencia no muy buena en cuanto al hotel

We kwamen in een erg vieze kamer terecht. (wel schone bedden) uiteindelijk een muis gezien in de kamer na dit gemeld te hebben bij de receptie hebben we gelijk een nieuwe schonere kamer gekregen waar het raam niet dicht kon.

Alojamiento antiguo y bastante descuidado. Por el precio está bien, pero deja bastante que desear la limpieza del hotel. Nosotras sólo estuvimos en el hotel para dormir, así que para lo básico, fue suficiente.

Nice hotel near buses and underground
Nice Hotel near to Euston Bus Station where you easy can travel to several parts of London by buses and undergrounds. The "Continental breakfast" was very poor: dry bread, no "topping" like cheese or ham. The only intressted thing in the breakfast room was the "English breakfast" (eggs, sausage and bacon) but it was not included in the "continental breakfast". Usually these are included in "Continental breakfast" but not here.

Sur votre site ce n'est pas indiqué que dans les 175 chambres de cet hôtel il n'y a pas de douche ni wc. En plus la vétusté du lieu est incroyable! Je ne sais pas comment votre site peut recommander cet établissement. Nous avons contacté votre service client qui a été aussi décevant que l'hôtel. Après plusieurs appels et beaucoup d'insistance, nous avons réussi à être délogés vers un autre établissement qui n'avait rien à voir avec The County hotel. C'était la première fois que j'avais réservé sur votre site internet et je ne recommencerai pas de si tôt. Et en tout cas cet hôtel est à fuir!!!!!!

Overall a bad stay
No toilets or showers in the rooms. Overall the building is in a poor condition. Staff was excellent even though the lost my key after I had given it to the porter. Location is good

Relatief goedkoop hotel in goede buurt en met goed
Vlakbij British Library, British Museum, in Bloomsbury met leuke tentjes, nabij Camden. Vlakbij Euston Station en King's Cross/St Pancrass Station en in de buurt van veel metrolijnen. Hotel is 2sterren dus basic met gedeelde bad/WC units. Kamers zijn oud en het interieur ook, maar fit for purpose. Personeel is vriendelijk maar niet opdringend. Aan de voorkant heb je last van verkeerslawaai.

Super slecht, vies hotel. Niet heen gaan!
De eerste indruk van het hotel was dat het wel netjes was, totdat je boven kwam bij de kamers. Alles in de kamers was heel erg oud. De bedden vielen haast uit elkaar. Overal lagen er haren op de 'gewassen' dekens. Er lag nog een sok van een vorige gast in de kamer. Verder zijn er gedeelde badkamers en toiletten, dit staat op veel sites niet vermeld. Om te kunnen douchen moest je in een heel vies bad gaan staan. Kortom, een heel vies hotel!

Nicht im Winter
Wir haben eine Nacht in guter Lage verbracht. Leider ließ sich das Zimmer nicht ordentlich heizen; die Nacht war unangenehm kalt. Das Personal hat das auf den Alterszustand des Hauses zurück geführt. Das Frühstück in einem schönen Frühstücksraum ist "Continental". Toast mit Butter und Marmelade aus kleinen Döschen, dazu Corn Flakes. Gegen Aufpreis bekommt man auch Zugang zu Eiern und Speck.

Habitacion austera. Muy buena situación del hotel respecto a muchos puntos de interés. Posibilidad de llegar caminando a muchos de estos sitios. El personal de recepción( muchos de ellos de nacionalidad española) muy amables.

Baño compartido
En este hotel no existen habitaciones con baño propio, y las habitaciones son muy pequeñas. Tanto que las camas las ponen una a continuación de la otra (pies con pies). Debajo de una de las camas nos encontramos restos de los huespedes anteriores. Las chicas de la recepción son muy agradables (dos de ellas españolas).
