While it wasn't the cleanest room, the place was quiet and the resort is in a great spot on the strip. Direct access to the monorail is a plus. The pool is very popular but that can mean it's difficult to access.

The Flamingo is certainly an iconic hotel/casino, and the location (including a convenient monorail stop) is a plus. Our room had a great view, but it was actually not the room we reserved (we reserved a king, got two queens - we were offered the opportunity to change rooms the next day - IE, after we unpacked and slept there one night for a three night stay). Climate control in the room was challenging, and on the day of checkout, we could not get the shower above room temperature. The pool experience was mediocre at best - loud music, drinks overpriced even for Vegas (and you could not bring in drinks purchased elsewhere in the casino, either). Probably the most unsettling - I spilled a cup of water on the carpet and grabbed a hand towel to sop it up. The towel turned a revolting brown/black immediately. Wouldn't say we are sorry we stayed there, but certain we won't stay there again.

We love the location of the Flamingo on the Strip. The room was clean and bed comfortable, but the bathroom really needed some work. Somehow we got a roll in shower which left a puddle inthe floor in front of the sink, had nowhere to put soap (no soap dish), and nowhere to hang a towel within easy reach of the shower. The carpet in the hallway of the 18th floor was all bunched up in the middle and is a trip hazard. It needs to be stretched. We were lucky and got checked in fairly quickly, but saw long lines. A new Cuban restaurant is coming soon which will enhance dining options. We chose to hang out at the family pool as the loud techno music at the GO Pool was not for us. The Flamingo is in need of some updating, but the location is great.

The staff during check in was horrible. Didn’t get the room we paid for, got downgraded and they tried saying it was an “upgrade”. Room was damaged, example the shampoo conditioner holder in shower were smashed and missing contents. When we informed staff they did give us the little shampoos. Plugs had been ripped from the walls and just placed back, hazard for sure. Expedia told us we would owe X amount total for trip, hotel charged more. The location was great though. Close to tons of main attractions.

Smoking in the premises is pretty crappy, people have allergies and the entire hotel smelled of smoke despite rooms being smoke free. Additionally the room itself was sub par. We received an "upgrade" to two twins from a king sized bed and the room was dirty with a shower that couldn't be shut, broken tiles all along the walls, and no ability to not splash water all over the floor due to the door not being slidable or shutable. The shower control was had to use and nearly falling off with no idea of hot vs cold. The fridge was broken and didn't cut on at all. The instructions for key drop off or checking out or in are insufficient. The kiosk didn't work for check in and basically forced me to go back into the gigantic line. The checkout process wasn't readily listed in the room which results in extra calls to the front desk tying up staff or additional questions for staff members along the way. Hire a UX Specialist to improve the flow of the hotel check in/out process to maximize efficiency and enjoyment of your patrons. Simple fixes could save you millions per year and make you even more. Feel free to reach out if you want a consultation from one.

Once the parking ramp was figured out, super easy to park as the entrance is not off of the main drag, instead it’s off of Tropicana. The view from the 19th floor was terrific too.

Upon arrival at the Flamingo Hotel, my initial experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel had overbooked rooms, leading to a chaotic and frustrating start to my trip. Despite booking a room with a Strip view and a king bed, I was given a room with two queen beds overlooking a less than appealing alleyway. The room was in a state of disrepair, with broken outlet covers and a general lack of cleanliness. To put it into perspective, I have stayed in a Clarion hotel room with visible stains on the pillow and found it less upsetting than this experience. The room was not worth a $50 price tag. When I voiced my concerns, the apology I received felt insincere and dismissive, reminiscent of Tony Hayward’s infamous apology on South Park. However, the story took a turn for the better when a friend suggested I contact Expedia. The representative I spoke with was nothing short of a saint. She contacted the hotel on my behalf and managed to secure a new room for me by 2 pm the next day. This experience highlighted the value of having an agent on your side in such situations. I will certainly be booking through Expedia in the future and give them a well-deserved five-star rating for their exceptional customer service. As for the Flamingo Hotel, while their customer service left much to be desired, I must give credit where it’s due. The hotel’s location is excellent, earning it a five-star rating in that regard. Overall, I would rate my experience at the Flamingo Hotel Half a star

Hotel is run down, bathroom kept getting backed up even when no toilet paper was being thrown in. Had to call maintenance several times thought our stay. Hotel room is dirty. Layers of dust is seen in the corners of the room, around the bed and closet. Elevator are glitching, there was no hot water in shower. It was a terrible experience will not stay here again

Our room never had hot water for all three days. The room is renovated but the taps both sink and shower were falling off as well as shower door handle. The bag man was amazing and informative check in was quick for the amount of people. The pool is amazing but the drinks are way over priced. Food is reasonable priced. A cabana is ver overpriced. Get there at 8:30 to get a free chair.
