"We recently stayed at Villa Lilia in Brienno, Lake Como. All reviews of the villa are totally correct! My wife and I were able to stay four wonderful nights. All the pictures in the listing at true and accurate. Lovely place with fabulous views looking across the lake at Nesso (from the bedroom balcony). "I loved our stay here! The staff were very kind and helpful, the hotel was cozy and quiet, the breakfast and restaurant offered a variety of excellent food. This hotel is also within walking distance of Tremezzo and the ferry and bus stops. It is uphill though, so you may want to hire a taxi if you have a lot of luggage. 5/5 highly recommend!"

"Will have to admit we almost passed up this little gem due to the fact it didn't list it had air conditioning in the room (stay was mid-Aug); hard to sleep if hot. The room did not have ac but the cool breeze off the lake was perfect! I am usually a mosquito attractant and will not sleep with the doors open but took the chance this time and had no issues.
