This is a very luxe, western-leaning type of hotel in the center of everything in Tokyo. Beautiful facilities and very well appointed rooms, with tons of amenities, including a lounge with complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails, appetizers, as well as a communal soaking bath (gender segregated). The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the street facing rooms are subject to a LOT of traffic noise, since the hotel is situated on a main drag. The other “complaint” is that our room was very tight in terms of the space to walk/move around that furniture, particularly the beds and sofa area. The clearance between the bed edge and walls/window area wasn’t even a foot, so you kind of had to shimmy sideways in and out of bed. This may have been a function of ours being a double twin room. Perhaps the King room offered more clearance between the bed and walls. That said, the bends were quite comfortable. Would visit again but ask for a king room away from the street.
Last thing I’ll mention is if you’re looking for a western style breakfast, you’re better off visiting one of the boulangeries or coffee shops in the surrounding area. They offer one but it’s very basic - eggs, toast, very small fruit offering - and it doesn’t vary from day to day. The Japanese style breakfast, on the other hand, is quite elaborate and interesting.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and would recommend with just those few caveats.
