The staff were so helpful and polite. It was an affordable hotel within walking distance to all the shops, department stores, high end luxury stores, covered pedestrian shopping streets, restaurants from fast food to Michelin start, etc. Since I stayed at during the Lunar New Year, it was packed with young Chinese university students.
The public baths for guests that were open every now night from 3 pm to 10 am. was soooo beautiful and relaxing.
The hotel was an overall positive experience and the following criticism is what is preventing me from giving it 5 stars.
1) As another reviewer mentioned, the interior/furnishings of the guest room was not well thought through. The sink that could have been built in the bathroom area was in the middle of the room.
Except for the hanging closet niche, all of the drawers were just there to store the amenities the hotel provided, and there were no place to store clothes and stuff, if you were to stay more than a day or two.
2) Although the is a restaurant, there is no lounge area that you can get respite from your small room,
and have some tea or coffee.
3) There is absolutely no Laundry service. You have to bring your clothes to the Dry Cleaners or wash your clothes at the Coin Laundry about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
