I recently had the displeasure of staying at this hotel, and my experience was nothing short of infuriating. Upon my arrival, not a single staff member bothered to assist me with my five heavy luggages, forcing me to struggle on my own. The shocking part? Observing the selective assistance provided by the security guard and lobby staff, favoring non-East Asian and Western-looking guests. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.
As if that wasn't enough, my room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the hotel's no-smoking policy. Despite reporting the issue, the housekeeping staff offered no solution, attributing it to the previous guest. The replacement room didn't fare much better, plagued by an army of mosquitoes originating from poorly constructed drainage in the shower area. I had to resort to makeshift solutions, using disinfectant wipes to cover the drainage hole. I have photos of everything.
The incompetence continued with stained and unclean bed sheets being replaced during my stay. During checkout, the security guard displayed utter indifference, watching me struggle with my luggages without lifting a finger. The contrast with my positive experiences at other Kuala Lumpur hotels highlights this establishment's abysmal service and dirty, poorly constructed rooms.
This hotel's exterior may be fancy, but its service is the worst I've encountered. I strongly advise against staying here, as the staff's neglect and discriminatory behavior make it an entirely unpleasant experience
