"The hosts were extremely accommodating when we notified them in advance that we would arrive past the check-in hours, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of sightseeing in Boston & Salem. The Sargent Room on the 3rd floor was very spacious and clean; however, the beds were "short" for us and the carpet that covered the uneven floor could be updated. "What a unique and wonderful experience! The continental breakfast is very ample and delicious. I had the goat cheese and blueberry quiche, and there are 5 outstanding complimentary breakfasts to choose from. Upon arrival, the dining area was decked out from a weekend Alice in Wonderland dinner. A beautiful and creative display. The staff was extremely accommodating. The bed was comfortable; the room a classy Victorian style. The Silver Fountain is an adventure! "

"The Elmere House Bed and Breakfast was incredible in every way! Their daily breakfasts were so amazing—so delicious! Michael and Bill, the inn keepers, worked so hard to make our stay the best. We have stayed in B and B’s all over the world, and this one comes in #1. Our suite was large and beautiful with a fireplace, four-poster bed, and gorgeous pine floors. This place definitely earns a five-star rating!"

"This hidden gem was perfect for us this weekend. We were the only couple staying, which was a surprise, but it was great because we had the house & indoor pool to ourselves. "The area around the Inn is amazing. Parking limited only 5 spaces. The room looked run down, dirty toilet brush, badly stained paint around the bathroom door framing, heater didn't work. For $650 a night with no breakfast included, beware this is not a B and B breakfast costs extra so it's a BWB bed without breakfast. No vanity products or tea/coffee in the room. Would not recommend staying here, poor value for money. "
