"Nicely decorated and clean cabin. Very warm and beds are comfortable. It was perfect for myself, husband and 3 teenagers. Close to Saddleback ski resort . My only complaint is you have to walk down the driveway of the cabin behind you. They had big SUV, sleds and toys blocking the walkway. It was a challenge to walk down to the cabin. We would definitely stay here again as that was a minor issue. Just make sure you wear boots in the winter."

"We had such an incredible time staying at the main cabin. The place was very clean, and the views WOW!! The cabin is surrounded by water in two sides and has a great sandy beach. The water was too low this time of the year to dock the boat, but was able to pull up on the beach easily. Boat launch is just down the road a little over a mile. Easy to drive to Oquossoc or Rangeley from here, but honestly this place has all you need! We are already planning our next weekend trip here. Owners were...

"Was beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a gathering. BUT hot tub overheated once and was 111 (WAY too hot to get into), and it kept tripping the breaker so had to keep resetting it. Also departing conditions says to put trash in dumpster. Couldn’t find a dumpster anywhere on the property or road, ended up having to bring it home in a car. But over all was a great place to stay. May go back again with family. Was beautiful and just want 6 mommas needed for a Mother’s Day weekend get away. "

There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. "We anticipated a rustic old cabin, but we did not anticipate health and safety issues or inaccurate amenities in the listing. There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational.
