Amazing Beach House!!
This is a beautiful beach house in the most perfect location! You can walk to the beach in less than a minute, just out the front door and around the pool, so easy. The hose on the boardwalk was great to wash all of the sand off yourself and your belongings before going back to the pool. We really appreciated the long beach mat laid out from the end of the boardwalk down the dune, it helped to get up and down a lot easier and probably helps protect the dune too. We saw a turtle nest on the beach which was cool! The home had everything we needed to have a great stay. I highly recommend this house!!

Nice condo in KDH
Condo is as described, close to the beach, restaurants and other activities. We had a couple of minor questions and the property manager promptly took care of them. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Fun Time
The Condo was great. Very open floor plan. The kitchen was nice and had everything you needed to fix meals. The beds were comfortable. It was located very close to attractions and restaurants but it still felt very private. The host was was very gracious and made sure you had everything you needed. Nice pool area. We were able to view sunrise from our living room and balcony. We had a great time.

Home away from home, with a view!
This trip was special to celebrate life of my dad and his passing 8 years ago. I truly enjoyed receiving the messages from John just a few days prior, with details "to know" for our arrival and wonderful enticing pictures to help with the countdown of our first day back in OBX. Great communication! Located near everything and anything you would want to do! The condo, unit 9 had an amazing layout and balcony opening directly to the dune with view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching all the ghost crabs in the sand. Lovely unobstructed views for sunsets and sunrises. The kitchen is full service with everything you need! The beds were comfortable- which is truly important when your staying for a week. The water pressure was awesome! My mom is curious by nature and enjoyed meeting new people 🤗 The property is well maintained. You can tell they truly care about the area and it's guests. We enjoyed the rolled mat to the beach, making the walkway to the beach/pool area more natural and easier to walk on barefoot. Truly was a wonderful addition to our OBX memories. Great place to stay on the Kill Devil Hills Beach
Our family (2 adults and older teenager) really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent and it is very easy to walk to many restaurants, bars, activities and ice cream parlors in the vicinity. A short drive is all it takes to get to even more things (grocery, gas, mini golf, etc.). The condo is located in a small complex made up of nine condos. It has its own pool and private beach access. We never found the beach too crowded walking down from the private access. The condo is closest to the dunes and the deck has a view of the ocean - though the view is not great while sitting down. The two bedrooms are downstairs and living room, dining room and kitchen are upstairs. Everything upstairs has been redone recently. Downstairs is more original but certain was very comfortable. The unit is well equipped and I can not recall needing anything that was not provided. WIFI was strong and worked well when I had to do a little work. The owner communicated well and was very helpful and attentive. He made available beach chair and umbrellas and bikes. He lives nearby and manages a few units so was actually around the complex quite a bit if there was a need. If you are looking for a good place to stay in a good location with easy access to many things, you should consider.

Excellent place to stay!
This is our 2nd year staying at the Breakers and it was even better the 2nd time! We stayed in Unit 9 this year and Unit 8 the year before. Both units were very clean and the owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. The location is great. It is right on the beach with a pool to use as well. You can walk to several good restaurants and there is a Brewery across the street. We will be back!

My wife and I always enjoy vacationing in the Outer Banks with friends and family that stay locally as well. Kayak tour on the Bay side was great, really good food at Millers and Kill Devil Hill Grill, Bike rentals are fun, and love Jockey’s Ridge! We have stayed in Duck & South Nags Head in past years. Kill Devil Hills was nice but we did prefer the other areas as they are less commercialized and have bike paths right on rt. 12. Outer Banks is great vacation that we will continue visiting, but we cannot recommend booking this condo. The place did have some deficiencies but our main issue was the owner. On our last day of vacation, we received an aggressive text from the owner regarding a dog and asking us for a proposal to make amends or he would involve VRBO and go after our security deposit. After departure the owner provided false cleaning/damage claims to Vrbo for a portion of our Refundable Damage Deposit. My wife and I always clean thoroughly and we definitely did this time as well. There was absolutely no sand, hair or a hole anywhere as he claimed. He actually said there was hair in the refrigerator. When departing, we took many pictures/video’s and provided to VRBO Travel Care that showed all claims were untrue. After departure, the owner text me a picture of us in the local neighborhood (not at the property).This was very concerning! All of our previous stays with Vrbo have been positive and we plan to continue using in the future.

This traveler kept a dog in a newly remodeled condo for a week in clear violation of house and HOA rules. Leaving it alone in the unit while they sat on the beach, biked and kayaked, only taking it out for occasional bathroom breaks. They were contacted by text and offered to discuss a means to compensate for this. They chose to deny and be combative. Photos of them walking the dog along with photos of the dog hair and damage to the unit were presented to Vrbo and portion of their security deposit was withheld. Mr Steve P and Wife are breakers of business contracts and a bearers of false witness. I caution anyone considering dealing with them personally or professionally

Prime beach location & beautiful home
The beachfront apartment was in excellent condition with cozy soft linens, great beds & furniture. Beautiful views to watch morning sunrise & dolphins. Excellent amenities, pool, deck to view sunrise, moonrise & a larger deck to watch sunset. Great cooking pans; books, fuseball, and games were bonus for late evening fun. Super close to both Jockey Ridge State Park & National Wright Brothers. Rental owner responded immediately for help with directions, questions & recommendations!

Great artwork! Great location! Clean, neat, just what we ordered!
We really loved the location and the look of this property. It was obviously recently renovated with great taste and an eye to decoration. There were just two of us staying and we appreciated the smaller size. The beach access and area were nice, but too cool to take advantage of the pool (which looked clean and inviting if it was warmer). The owner was very responsive and helpful. Check in/out was very easy. Great stay!

Awesome location!

This is a really nice, clean property. Everything has been recently redone and upgraded. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. It is a small group of houses, very family oriented. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks so the dunes, while expected, were a bit steeper than we thought, but not impossible (the photo is a little deceiving). The metal mat/rug did help a lot. There was always plenty of room on the beach and the pool is a good size and wasn't crowded. We enjoyed being close to a lot of different things. The Tiki bar next door was great as was the pizza place down the street. We really enjoyed our first trip and look forward to another trip next year.

Check in process super easy, owner very responsive and accommodating. Condo beautiful inside, with updated kitchen, and nice flooring. Mattresses are kind of hard. The main inconvenience for us was there is no washer and dryer, there is coin laundry at the complex very close to this unit. Also, there isn’t really anywhere to store your beach supplies, unless you want to leave your stuff outside the door. Other than that, it was perfect, would go back again! Very convenient location, very close to many restaurants and attractions!

A little gem
This was our first time at OBX. We lucked out with this place. Located in the heart of OBX - easy drive to both Manteo and Duck. The place was newly renovated- great kitchen and new carpet in the bedrooms. The property, including the pool, was clean and well kept. Great for a family. Would definitely come back!

When initially searching for a place I selected one adult and two children and the place I selected showed up as one of the options. What confused me is that there were only two beds. This ultimately was an oversight on my part, but I wish it hadn't showed up in the search results.

The condo was clean, close to the beach. We didn’t need much contact with the host, but the one time we reached out he was easily accessible. The beds seemed smaller than listed, perhaps they are really full size, not queen. The beds were not comfortable and were really hard. Bed linens were provided and clean, but you need to bring your own towels, that includes hand towels and dish towels. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and toaster. Be sure to bring an extra roll of toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. Some of those items are provided, but if you have a family you might go through more than what’s provided (as we did). The balcony has two chairs and faces the ocean- the view is slightly obstructed by the sand dunes, but it was still a comfortable and pleasant spot to catch the sunrise. The pool was not open when we were there, but it was a nice size and looked clean and well kept. The deck and stairs to the beach were nice and clean, but those with mobility issues might have challenges getting to the beach. Beach was nice and not overcrowded when we visited in early May. The condo is close to restaurants and activities. Not all roads have sidewalks, so it might not be best to walk with small children. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Condo was as advertised! Slightly obstructed view of ocean by sand dune, but nothing else between you and the ocean. Can hear waves crashing with patio door open. Lots of restaurants close by.

Breakers #9 was very nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen! Centrally located with a short walk (though there are stairs and a dune to navigate) to get to the beach. This was not an issue for us but may be a consideration if there are mobility issues. Owner was very responsive. We would rent this lovely condo again.
