Staff members were very helpful and very clean lobby but rooms not so much. AC in the rooms not working properly even though it set up for 18 Celsius still not cold enough. I had to keep my window open over night so it was more comfortable and cooler. I

This is not a Family friendly or couple friendly Hotel. It is simply a business city type hotel. The Reception and the front of house staff are are totally useless. Stayed seven days here but not once I saw any one of them engaging with the guests. They were all too busy on their mobile phones. No assistance with luggage or any other issues. The only person that was any good was the room cleaner. She was excellent and very helpful. I would not recommend this hotel for a holiday stay. There are far better hotels with very friendly staff in Istanbul. I definitely booked room with breakfast, but on arrival was told no breakfast is booked. So not a good start. They were too keen to sell me tours etc but service that you would expect in a so called 5 star hotel is totally lacking. The pool is very cold . The Spa prices are extortion. Avoid this hotel at all costs . Expedia should take this off their books for sure.

Stuff were mean and not honest. Frown faces with rude behavior. They provide rooms not as per as the reservation, air conditioning not working . I sweat all night long , I had to fight after midnight to change room . It is awful experience. That’s Turky services .. zero respect, zero service, zero customer support.

Mixed Experience at Windsor Hotel, Istanbul Positive Aspects: 1. Cleanliness: The hotel maintained a high level of cleanliness throughout our stay, ensuring a comfortable environment. 2. Facilities: The facilities provided were satisfactory, contributing to a generally pleasant experience. Negative Aspects: 1. Limited Vegetarian Options: As pure vegetarians, we faced a significant challenge with the scarce vegetarian food choices. The suggestion to rely on salads daily was not an ideal solution. 2. Closed Restaurant on Mondays: The hotel's restaurant being closed on Mondays was an unexpected inconvenience, and this information was not communicated beforehand. 3. Language Barrier: Communication proved to be challenging due to a limited understanding of English among the staff, making the overall experience more difficult. 4. Commercial Location: The hotel's location in an industrial/commercial area, distant from major tourist centers, might not be suitable for those seeking a more central location. Conclusion: While the Windsor Hotel in Istanbul offers cleanliness and decent facilities, the limited vegetarian options, unexpected closure of the restaurant on Mondays, language barriers, and a commercial location may affect the overall satisfaction, casting doubt on its claim as a 5-star establishment.

Highly recommend staying here. We had another place booked but were very unhappy and booked here the night before hoping it was better. It was amazing, the staff were amazing with helping us get around with transportation and recommending things to do. The room had a fantastic view, very clean and had no problem with it at all. Food from restaurant was also good, my daughter had to take an exam and it had great wifi and was very quiet so she could complete it. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

I am very happy with my stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and beautiful. I booked a junior suite and it was very large & comfortable, felt like an apartment. It is perfect for a longer stay. There was issue with the heat in my room for the first couple days which made me a little upset because I was very cold. I went to the front desk and the front desk agent ( I regret I didn't get his name ) kindly offered me a new room right away. One of the employees came to help me with the luggage and escorted me to my new room. It was so warm and cozy, I absolutely loved it and really enjoyed the stay for the next few days. The restaurant on the 17th floor ( The Crown ) was fantastic. The food was so delicious and the view was amazing. The bartender made me a special drink, which was very tasty. You should definitely check it out. It is much better than the restaurant in the lobby area.

They need to do more!
The stay was ok however it deserve to be a 4 star instead of 5 star. It was clean and staff were friendly. good thing about it was the taxi station next door which made it easy for us to get a taxi. They need to add much more to their rooms to claim the 5 star hotel - They need a full set of soap, shampoo, etc + they need paper tissues, toothpaste, tooth brush (like basic stuff). They would bring it to us if we were to call and ask for it but a 5 star hotel shouldn't be hesitant to provide basic hygiene material.

This is a 5 star hotel. Very beautiful hotel with great amenities. Overall good value. The only thing is that it is located in a more commercial area. There's small grocery stores nearby and some restaurants (Donair). Easy access to Metro. I would stay there again.

The staff is decent. Facilities are decent. However the restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The food is horrible . The staff is untrained - you have to beg to get service. You need to fire all the staff in the restaurant. Let’s get back to the food… the food is an absolute disaster. I paid for a pizza and a salad. Took one bit of the salad - spat it out paid for the food and left !!!!! The manager saw that we didn’t touch the food… he said nothing !!! Food on the streets of Istanbul taste better than the food at the “restaurant “ customer service on the streets of Cappadocia is better than this restaurant. We stayed at a different hotel in Istanbul …. Completely better service and restaurant. I’m shocked that a restaurant like this existes. This restaurant needs to be closed. Because of the restaurant. I will never stay at this hotel … however there is one bright spot -HAMZA is an absolute gem. He’s is the definition of Turkish hospitality.

Very professional staff, attentive and kind, making you feel really comfortable being there. Amazing breakfast (not cheap but worth it) sadly we didn't have enough time to really enjoy it. Good view from 16th floor where our rooms were. Dining experience in 17th floor restaurant very pleasant, great, top notch service. Food was really good too but could be better, particularly in relation to price. Overall really good experience. Would come back

Clean hotel. Lazy staff.
It's a good hotel. clean. Location- im not sure about the neighborhood because we only stayed for a night. Its in the business district area They gave us a whole cake because it was our wedding anniversary. Cons- the guy who delivered our room service is lazy. I requested for an ice during ordering of our food. Then when food arrived, there was no ice. So i requested but he asked if do i really need it? The soda is already cold. I said yes. So he said he will be back in 20 minutes. But the guy never came back with my ice. Lousy lousy service. Hes lazy. Would i stay here again? Maybe not. I prefer to stay somewhere else with good service and better location.

Everything was exceptional except the first room we were given had problems with the Air conditioner which they resolved by changing the room however unlike other hotels, the temperature of air conditioners are set to maximum of 18 degrees. So of you are from cold countries it will bother you quite much. However everything else is perfect and amazing.
