"If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!"

The provisions provided to get us started were very thoughtful and helpful. The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked. The directions provided for all the amenities were more than sufficient to make correct use of them. We hope to be able to stay here again some day."

"The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. One minor negative is that there is a little bit of street noise from pedestrians on their way out of the city center after the bars closing. Usually...

"This adorable cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was close to stores and restaurants, easy walk to anything we needed. Having a parking spot on the property was perfect, a convenience that made our stay. The property was clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The owner even supplied body wash, shampoo and soaps which was a nice surprise. This is a fantastic place, we highly recommend it! Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Very clean and comfortable house, walking distance to the pub two doors down, and an Esso/small grocery 5 minutes the other direction. The only two suggestions I have for the owners are to clearly state that bedrooms are upstairs and that there is no parking on the property itself (we used the canal parking lot down the street a bit). "

"Gregor was a delightful host-guide. His VRBO was well- situated very near an ALDI grocery store and many restaurants. We also used Gregor's services for several days of touring and he was incredibly accommodating , knowledgeable and a most pleasant person. A memorable stay !"

The house is in a quiet neighborhood easy walking distance to the city center and extremely close to the river. There is a washer and you can definitely cook in the kitchen.
