"This was a great little cabin right on the water with a fabulous view! The extras like the kayaks were great for being able to get out on the water. A few things to note - the shower is in the bedroom, the bunk room is a tight fit to get in the door around the beds, the doorways are short (we had one person that is 6'5" and had to duck), and the lighting in the bedrooms isn't great. None of these impacted us enjoying our stay, though! The neighbors that were around all seemed very friendly, and there was privacy between us and them as well. The firepit was great to relax around in the evening and watch the various ducks, loons and geese on the water. The lake is small and quiet, which was a fantastic to be able to really enjoy it. We will definitely keep this on our list to go back!"

"Wonder historic property. Right on the lake. Our hosts were wonderful and welcoming. Sense of seclusion and serenity yet walking distance to the hamlet’s shops and dining. We’ll make this a new favorite. "

"Loved the laid back nature of the place- no front desk Just arrive, take a life jacket and pull out a canoe and get busy enjoying the amazing lake. Nothing fussy about the place. Restaurant was delicious/ top notch food. Low key staff that help anyway they can but don’t get in way. Firewood and all you need to enjoy your evening in quiet. I’d probably get bigger room Next time .. our space for 4 was tight but I had cheap room "

"Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help."
