Great check in, gentleman at check-in (5/11) was very helpful. Gave us directions to multple places, BlackCat Tavern was Great...pricey, but very good.. Hotel was clean, friendly, etc.. doing construction but was still an awesome stay. Look forward to return..

Beautiful location on the harbor and our view was the dumpster in the back. We got hit with a $43 amenities charge which was supposed to include water, but there was no water in the room.

I have seen a few negative reviews of the rooms being outdated but the recent renovations seem to have alleviated this. My room looked just like the photo with clean, new furniture and bed linens. The towels were a tiny bit older but I expect that during the offseason.
I enjoyed the design of the rooms and amenities - very nautical rather than "beachy."

The biggest reason for the lower score is that I got a room with a kitchenette and got charged $50 more per night.....except there was nothing provided to use said kitchenette. We asked a manager and they said no. I would have expected something saying that pots/pans would not be provided. Even throughout my 7 day day, the paper/plasticware was not replenished. Other than that it was nice.

It was recently updated. It's close to the ferries, close main Street and just a few minutes away from the mall. Close to a few Jamaican restaurants.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly, but could’ve been more helpful at check in. Major construction going on at hotel during our stay. Noisy and mess. No one told us when we made reservations.

The hotel is being renovated so the lobby is in another bldg. It's very difficult to get to when it's raining. There's no way to unload luggage without getting wet. You either have to use a long ramp or drag luggage down steps.
There is really no reception area. It would have been nice to have water and coffee available in the lobby area.
The location is great though, very close to restaurants and right across the street from the hotel.
