My New Favorite Spot!
This property is perfect. It’s nicely secluded with just a short walk down to the river, but also not too far from stores and whatever you may need to grab. It was such a lovely place and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Great getaway!
Perfectly situated between isolation and access to amenities. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Easy drive to Eureka Springs and several hiking spots and access to the river right from the cabin!

Secluded cabin on kings river
We enjoyed our stay very much. A lot of ads say “secluded” and have another cabin right next to it but this cabin is truly secluded. We had the sweetest border collie dogs visit us there. We will definitely stay here again.

Mother Nature at its best

Great R&R with a little Adventure on the side
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute in this peaceful and serene cabin. Our adventure included the War Eagle Caverns, hiking the King’s River Overlook, kayaking, and grilling with friends. You couldn’t ask for a better host or getaway. -Remember to disconnect because phones and internet are not an option! Truly peaceful.

If you dream about a relaxing cabin in the woods, this is it. The setting, the cabin, THE BACK PORCH, it’s just heaven. Very clean, had everything we needed, and one of the best parts, no internet. Matt was great. You need this s getaway, just book it.

Found the cabin to remote and to far away from where we were spending most of our time. Road accessing the property was extremely rough. Beds were unconformable and the main bedroom was small and hard to get to

Very private and secluded, easy to find. Very nice host. Loved the rustic cabin, porch and deck. Could see the River from back covered porch. River was low at this area when we visited and is upper section, not floatable for canoeing at the time of our visit. Able to drive to river access/outfitter approximately 40 minutes away.

No sleep, no parking and spring mattress.
Checking in was smooth. Up all night the second night scared to death till we figured out about 3am it was a shutter banging our window. As women traveling alone this absolutely was terrifying, we weren’t sure if it was a bear or a man trying to get in. No parking and filling springs in both twin mattress made for a bad vacation.

Arkansas Cabin
Our stay in the cabin in Arkansas was outstanding. Very unique cabin, with custom construction. Our family enjoyed the experience in Madison Co and surrounding southern part of the Ozarks. The hike at a nearby state park was challenging and rewarding with beautiful landscape and quality trails. Matt and his wife have a great set of cabins. We recommend!

Wonderful countryside getaway
We had a wonderful weekend getaway to the Ozarks, and our stay at this cabin was one of the highlights. With an unexpectedly frigid weather system moving in for our stay, Matt was super helpful in making sure we were comfortable and cozy, even with several days of low temps in the teens! We enjoyed our nights and mornings by the fireplace and also enjoyed the solitude of the country and riverside scenery. Getting to meet Matt, the dogs, horses, and even the cute little pigs running through the yard made the cabin feel like much more than just a place to stay. We had a wonderful time and we’re already looking forward to going back!!

Cozy cabin in the woods!
My boyfriend and I so enjoyed our time here. He was a little hesitant as there was no Wi-Fi/internet (my fault, not the hosts) but we did have cell service so he was fine with that. Such a nice place to unwind and relax next to the fire. My only suggestions to fellow travelers is pack your own cutlery if you are planning on having steaks/chops on the grill and prepare oneself for the shower. The shower only has a plastic liner which would be fine if the liner actually reached the base of the shower and we weren’t getting water every where. The bed upstairs (we only slept in that one) was super duper comfy and we both slept super well. The fireplace is picturesque and warmed the whole cabin.

Beautiful Ozark Mountains
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Away from everything, but close enough to anything we wanted to do. Sitting outside on the deck the only thing you can hear is the wildlife and crackle of the fire. The easily accessible river was very nice. Absolutely beautiful cabin!

We did not realize how isolated this cabin is or we would have stayed somewhere else. The 1000’ of river frontage access is a little misleading as getting to the river is not easy. We did walk the creek which was nice. It would be nice to have some of the trees or brush cleared to have a better view from the back porch. It was a little surprising to find a bucket of cigarette butts on the back porch upon arrival. Overall, the place could be cleaner. It needs a thorough cleaning under beds, the oven needs to be cleaned. There was a hair in the fridge. The shower curtain is too short and the water leaks on the floor. Eventually, this will pose a problem for the owners because the floor will need replacing. The bedroom with the twin beds doesn’t have air conditioning but there was a fan under one of the beds that I brought outside and dusted. It helped keep the room cool as long as the bedroom door was open. The cabin has potential but was disappointing in many ways.

Perfect place to relax
We booked this cabin, but ended up getting to start our vacation two days early. The cabin we originally booked was not available for our extra days, but Matt suggested we revise our reservation and stay at the other cabin on the property which is "Custom Craftsman". We agreed to make the change in cabins and could not have been happier. The Custom Craftsman is absolutely beautiful and the story behind the cabin is very impressive. The cabin had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay away from home. The river is close enough to walk to and spend the day fishing or playing in the water. However, most of our time was spent on the back porch relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet and the beauty of nature surrounding the cabins. I highly recommend staying at either of these cabins and can not wait for our next visit. You couldn't ask for a better host than Matt he made every effort to assure our stay was perfect.

Wonderful Cabin!
We loved spending our weekend at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and well stocked for cooking/eating, and the beds were all very comfortable. The views and location can’t be beat, right on the river and close to trails and Eureka Springs. We enjoyed floating around all day and exploring! Cell service was limited but that’s what we were hoping for, a weekend free from phones 😁

Adorable Cabin Charm
What a cute cabin, secluded in the woods! We absolutely loved finding cool flint rocks & sitting on the porch swing watching the hummingbirds dance & fight over the feeders…what personalities! The river was down very low due to lack of rain, but we still managed to do some floating around the area. Even low, it’s very pretty & fun to skip rocks. The nature around the area is just beautiful. So quiet & peaceful. There’s no WIFI, so mapping places to go was a challenge, but one we got up the road a few miles we got our phones to work. You may pre-map things out before you get to the cabin to save time & get where you need with ease. Downtown Eurkea Springs is almost 40min it’s away & is totally worth going to explore. If you’re looking for a truly secluded cabin experience, look no further. This home is wonderful.

My daughter's 18th birthday trip
As a family, we watched a lot of Little House on the Prairie when the kids were younger, so my daughter wanted to stay in a log cabin in a remote, beautiful spot. This cozy, well-built cabin exceeded her expectations! She loved sleeping in the upstairs loft, and going into Eureka Springs for dinner/sightseeing! We all enjoyed snuggling by the fire, spending time on the back deck, walking down to the river and soaking in the beauty of nature. Matt is so accommodating, responsive and goes above and beyond to make this place cozy and bless his guests. We are looking for a time to come back!

Cozy and beautiful cabin!
My family had a wonderful time at this beautiful property nestled in Northern Arkansas. It was incredibly clean and very spacious, as it was able to accomodate my family of 6 fairly easily. The views are spectacular. We especially enjoyed the foggy mornings rolling in on the covered back porch.

Great get away for a small family holiday
We really enjoyed our time at Matt's cabin on the Kings River. It was the perfect little get away for a small family Thanksgiving. The cabin was well equipped, very private and had a great view overlooking the river. We enjoyed time walking the property, hanging at the cabin or playing near the river.

This cabin and the property it sits on is absolutely beautiful. We felt so tucked away from the world. The host was nothing less than amazing, leaving us farm fresh eggs and even getting my car unstuck when I back down a hill like a dummy. He was awesome. We will defiantly be back.
