About the space
This picturesque A-Frame cabin getaway is ideal for couples looking to relax, recharge and reconnect, outdoor enthusiasts looking to get outside and explore new places, and professionals looking for work, play, and stay types of experiences.
We renovated this charming 1970s A-Frame cedar cabin in 2022. It offers floor-to-ceiling windows, a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, as well as a workspace, reading nook, and cozy open-concept bedroom loft. Numerous recent updates have restored and redefined the stylish spaces while maintaining and highlighting the unique characteristics and charm of the original spacious cabin.
There is 1 bedroom, located on the second level, with a comfortable queen-sized Endy mattress. Enjoy slow mornings in bed with a cup of tea or coffee, or curl up with a book in the reading nook! Upstairs is also a unique, peaceful office space, ideal for anyone needing to work from home during their stay. This space has a desk, comfortable chair, reliable high-speed internet, a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and scanner/printer. There is also 3-piece bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower, natural soap and body wash, and soft fresh linens!
On the main level are the living and dining areas, and the kitchen. The living room offers beautiful views of the Muskoka forest through the floor-to-ceiling windows and is ideal for cozy days and nights with a fireplace, smart TV, record player, and comfy couch that pulls out for additional sleeping. The kitchen has a full-size electric convection oven, apartment-sized fridge and freezer, microwave, and all the dishes, cookware, and cooking essentials for preparing meals. We also have a BBQ and utensils on the porch.
Our cabin is outfitted for all seasons and includes ceiling and portable fans, a portable air conditioning unit, baseboard heating, and a propane fireplace.
There’s truly no shortage of cozy, relaxing spaces at our cabin! Enjoy our hammock, cozy reading nook, and outdoor seating, or roll out the yoga mats! Relax in the outdoor hot tub as the twinkle lights shine above your head.
