"We woke up every morning and did a weather report as well as a cloud and cow report. The view of the mountain was so special - we loved seeing the cows come down the mountain at night. The sound of the local train and thin walls made it a bit noisy so if that would bother you ask for a room at the back of the building or expect to sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others no problem!"

"From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the property. In fact, we could not have picked a more perfect location. The house had everything we needed, which made our six-day stay truly memorable. The facilities were excellent, the view from the balcony truly stunning. Even the bad weather for the first couple of days couldn't spoil things, as the view of the mountains across the lake was something Caspar David Friedrich could have drawn inspiration from! The rooms were spotless and wonderfully decorated, and we really enjoyed the artistic touches.The garage for the car was perfect too. As well as the lake Hintersee where you could hire a rowing boat or pedalo (Trettboot), the hiking routes were wonderful, and once the weather cleared we hiked both around the lake (doable in just over an hour at a leisurely pace) and to the nearby town of Ramsau which has lots of great spots for photography as well as a selection of great beer gardens. The larger town of Berchtesgaden is also a short drive away, which was great for buying grocery supplies. Communication with the host Frau Kauffeld was great, and she was always quick to reply to any questions we had, and Frau El-Ahl who managed the handover of the keys were super friendly and helpful. We picked up the key to the house from her flat in nearly Bad Reichenhall, which was on the way. We will definitely be back - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!"
