Clean hotel and very friendly and accommodating staff. Pillows were some of the worst I have slept on. They were soft, small and fairly uncomfortable.

What I've come to expect from Hampton Inn. Breakfast wasn't up to its usual quality items that I have experienced in other Hampton Inn's but it was still free!

I really like the hotel, staff and breakfast but, really disappointed that we had a yappy dog in the adjacent room. Management should have a policy that all animals should booked in one area of hotel. Even though it didn't bark continuously, this made for a long night.

Spotless hotel lived up to its positive reviews. I needed a place to stay close to work due to a tight turnaround of events last week, and unfortunately most hotels in the area are poorly reviewed. Not this one, thank goodness! Arrived after a long work day around 9:30 pm to a friendly welcome, efficient check-in, and seamless room entry. King room had a spacious bathroom with a huge shower (good water pressure, thank you), pleasant toiletries, and bright lighting. I'm a mattress snob; though the Hampton Inns don't offer memory foam beds, this one was new enough to be divot-free and just firm enough. Plenty of outlets (including USB) at bedside for convenient charging. Breakfast in the morning took place in the bright, windowed lobby. Offerings were typical (oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, eggs, variety of baked goods, cereals, etc) but consistently replenished while I was there. More than one coffee /tea station kept guests from waiting. While dropping off my key, I noticed that to-go bags were marked for guests who needed breakfast on the run. It did not escape my attention that I was greeted sincerely by staff from reception, housekeeping, and food service equally -- nobody appeared overly stressed, frustrated, or obligated. As a hospitality professional myself, this impressed me greatly. Not only will I return to this hotel whenever I need to stay nearby, but I plan to use it exclusively for those my business hosts. Thank you to everyone at Hampton Inn Huntley!
