"No hand shower in the toilets, you can only use the toilet paper.
You will find lots of cockroaches.
The maid of the day is good, on the other hand those of the night are very bad in case you need them (they don't come unless you insist several times).
Servers are good
The food is average
The children's pool is good, the adult pool is average (not very deep and small).
Some receptionists have to learn to smile, it's free."
"The staff at The Sindbad are incredibly welcoming and kind, always happy to help and going out of their way to provide the best possible experience for guests.
Hafezdh and Walid at Restaurant Sherazade make us feel like family and are a true pleasure for my husband and I to see and speak with at every breakfast and dinner."
"Amazing little gem perfect for a getaway. Think all you need resort with direct access to a safe and clean beach. You won’t need to leave the property. The team has great day package getaways also. "
"I chose this property because it was popular and close to my in-laws. Everyone gives it raving reviews, so I booked my reservation months ago.
I was also told by former employees that this place used to be Better and it is now way different from how it used to be before. I’ve had minor issues leading up to the actual day of staying at the hotel but that did not matter because I already made up my mind to stay there however, I did not enjoy my stay for the most part. "Dated, with an 80s feel. Food was mediocre, and presented poorly. You're not getting your money's worth at this hotel. For what they are charging, you'd expect modern amenities, good variety of food, and updated rooms (it's dingy, old furniture and linens) in a 5 star setting. It's not the case here. Beach was excellent, though.
In short, there are better options in this price range."

"I loved everything about our stay. The food was amazing. The vibe relaxing and inspiring. The staff a dream. If I were to change one thing, it would be pillow options for sleeping. I like it when fancy hotels have different types of pillows to chose from — firm, foam, down, etc. I will return.

The rooms are not soundproof, every night I heard a couple being intimate that was annoying. Also, people coughing and using the bathroom.. The phones in the room do not work, nor does the balcony light. TV remote did not work, nor the button to the TV,. Breakfast is repetitive and limited. My room seen better days, I feel it was very dirty in my opinion. For the hotel to be luxury, for me, it did not feel like it. I wanted to ask the front desk can I change my room on the first day that I got there but they seemed unapproachable like you may be bothering them, so me not want to be that person who complains, I just spent my nights sleeping there sometimes and the rest of the time with my in-laws because it is what it is. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel to a friend who staying in Hammamet. But again this is just my experience. Maybe somebody else will have a better room that’s more clean and doesn’t it feel cramped and stuffy. I was there for nine nights. "

"Stayed at the Marco Polo for 8 days with my partner. The Hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. On arrival reception staff were friendly and upgraded us to a sea view room. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful if we needed anything. Rooms are cleaned daily, have a mini fridge and come with little extras, I thought the razors were a nice touch. The grounds were extremely well maintained. Facilities were limited only due to the time of year so the outdoor pool was drained, which looks like it would be amazing in summer. The indoor pool was lovely and the spa was still open.
The smaller restaurant was used for meal times as it was out of season, adequate size for the amount of guests at the hotel, food was tasty and varied and the restaurant staff were polite and helpful.
All the bar staff were amazing, but a special mention for Ezzeddine, Slim and Ridha you are fantastic, you made us feel right at home and made us laugh endlessly.
The only negative we have was there was no animation throughout the daytime to help with the hotel being so quiet. I understand it is difficult when the hotel is quiet but i feel more effort could have been made. On the night, animation was better in the Oasis bar. You could request any music you like and dance away. Karaoke was on one night right next to the bar which everyone enjoyed. I would suggest maybe a quiz night or bingo night too etc.
Overall a fantastic hotel, we would definitely stay again"
