Great hotel. Recommend for western foreigners. Food was very good. Club level includes happy hour menu and food that changes daily. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment I arrived, checkin and checkout, staff are extremely helpful. I really thankful for the counter staff who provided me the information on nearest place got dim sum. He advised that in my next stay, I can tell them to put something on that the mattress as it is too soft for me.

Every time I visit Guangzhou I stay at the W. The staff is excellent. They are high quality professionals. The tall German director is especially helpful and very professional. I cant say enough about the staff. The hotel is very clean and quiet. I will always look for the W wherever I stay.

Overall stay was good ~ I did have an accident during my stay at the hotel which resulted in a visit to the hospital emergency department and the staff at the hotel could not have been anymore helpful ~ excellent.

We loved our stay at the W Guangzhou so much that I think we’ll stay at W locations wherever we go from now on. The tech touches in the room especially wowed my 4-year-old, from heated toilet seats to TVs in the bathtub. The design of the hotel is sleek and luxurious. We loved the indoor heated pool, the bedding, and even the elevator ride. Breakfast was spectacular with so many offerings, including a custom juice bar. Plus the location is super convenient within easy access of tourist attractions as well as shopping and cafes. Only downside was that room service was overpriced as well as the spa services. I would’ve loved a massage but couldn’t bring myself to spend so much $$$ when cheaper options are just outside. Still would stay again.

The air conditioning is unable to adjust and stay at 20 degree C the lowest. I was told by the hotel's mechanic guy that all the room's AC stays at 20 degree C, unbelievable, summer time in Guangzhou and I cannot adjust my room temperature. good job W hotel.

The staff at W Guangzhou were polite, pro-active, friendly and efficient. Very much enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast offered. Stylist decorartions and in-room design and a comfortable sofa chair. Just a bit of hissing noise in the room. People smoking in the WooBar was a bit disturbing. Other than those, a satisfactory stay overall.

Good hotel but with probably too much promotion of social activity compared to actual performance and service of hotel basics. Pool was out of service during my stay hence a lower rating.

I stayed here one night. The hotel was absolutely luxurious. Many of the employees do not speak good English. However, the concierge from Austria speaks very good English and is extremely helpful
